Nestled in Lac Courte Oreilles, this attractive cabin for $210 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. For over 50 years this has been a well-loved little A-frame cabin for the family. It's set upon a hill with easterly exposure, a lakeside gazebo & a view up the length of this great lake. A wall of windows on the A-frame for abundant natural lighting throughout main living portion. ***This A frame cabin is in a dense forest. There will be spiders, and spider webs in and around the cabin. Please be aware of this. We clean the spiderwebs any time that we see them, but they will return. We are directly over a lake and don't want to use insecticides on the property as it is harmful to aquatic life*** The space Our cabin is best suited for a large family, or two smaller families. Bedrooms 3 and 4 are a split upstairs loft. It has 1 bunk bed and one twin per side with a privacy divider to Bedroom 4. There is a fireplace that can be used by the guest, but utmost care and safe fire practices must be used. Please only burn wood that is brought in from an approved DNR vendor. Please make 100% sure that the fire is put out by the time you leave. There is a dock at the bottom of the hill, and gives you direct access to Lac Courte Oreilles. There is also a public boat launch (about 10 minutes away) that can be used to launch boat rentals or personal owned watercrafts, it can be docked at our dock for no extra charge. Please note that boats brought by guests should be under 16ft as it is quite difficult to move a boat around in our small driveway. There is a very fun sand bar in the middle of the lake that we love to go to in the summer. Guest access Guests are allowed in all areas of the Cabin. The crawl space is locked for safety, and the garage is not to be used by guests except for passage into and/or out of the cabin, as we store some personal belongings in there. Other things to note There are spiders, and spider webs. This Cabin is in a deeply wooded area. Please take note of this. We have electric heaters in both the master bedroom, main floor bedroom, and the bathroom. A fire will need to be maintained in the fireplace to heat the main living space and loft. Extra blankets/quilts are in the storage ottoman in the main cabin area. This is a part time vacation rental, there are some spices and random items in the cupboards above the microwave, feel free to use them too! There are two security cameras on site. One on the garage and one on the gazebo. They are both facing the driveway. Cameras are installed primarily as a theft deterrent and to avoid police dispatch for false alarms. Security cameras are not monitored and should not be relied on for personal safety. No cameras are placed inside, or with any view of the interior of the property. Security cameras may be used to verify compliance with rental policies.

We rented this cabin for a quick fishing trip with my boys before one went away to college. Had a great time playing cards in the gazebo and hanging around the fire pit at night. Beautiful lake and area!

I had my small, chill bachelorette party at this cabin and it was fantastic!! Warm/comforting atmosphere, well cleaned, good AC, and lots of channels on the TV. The host was very communicative and let us check in early. They made sure we had everything we needed for a good weekend. We went on a weekend with a lot of bugs, but the inside was pristine and we didn't find a single bug inside. This cozy lake retreat is perfect!!!

The carpets were stained & very dirty, & there is a huge cliff drop off in the yard. Very dangerous for children.

We were in town to celebrate the cranberry festival and to visit my friend’s family cranberry farm for a tour. The cabin worked well for a 4 person girls trip. The 2 story living room window overlooked the lake. We enjoyed getting toast with the wood burning stove.

This property is great for a family, but I do feel more suitable for a summer stay. The weekend we stayed was colder and the only options for heat was old wall heater units and an iron fire place. With younger kids running around we were always on high alert to keep them from touching the heaters. Also, the driveway was long and the roads leading to the cabin were very narrow. This made it very difficult navigating a truck with a boat trailer. We were not able to get the trailer into the driveway which caused quite the debacle.

We really enjoyed our time at the Cabin. The home is located on the lake, is tucked away in nature, and was perfect for my quick family getaway from the cities!

Great location on the water. Lots of cobwebs and smell of dead mice/rodents was present in a couple locations. Could you use better kitchen necessities.

Great property, could use some modifications

Beautiful setting on the lake. The house could use better cleaning. Spiderwebs are taking over. I wouldn't recommend with small children until they update some safety items( handrails outside didn't have any balusters, children can easily fall down the incredibly steep hillside) and a few areas needed maintenance. Overall we were happy with the property.
