Located in Lac Courte Oreilles, this charming cabin for $225 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Enjoy our cabin! This renovated 500 sq. ft cabin on Grindstone Lake maximizes every inch of living space. In addition to a modern kitchen & bathroom, you will have access to wifi & a smart tv. Our deck provides beautiful lake views & sunsets. Clear, sandy bottom lake with an excellent fishing reputation. Golf 10 min away, Pickle Ball 25 min away, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Snowshoeing, Snowmobiling & XC Skiing right outside your door. Hayward is 8 miles away with its cute shops & restaurants. FAQS: Q: Can we check-in early or check-out late? A: Perhaps, it just depends. Check-in is at 4pm. If the place is vacant and has been cleaned we would love to accommodate your request. However during busy season it is unlikely (our cleaner is busy!). Checkout is at 11:00 am. The cleaner needs to get into the space to clean it for our next guests. Q: Is there WiFi? A: Yes. We have StarLink. Q: Do we have a television? A: Yes. Guests can use their streaming service. Q: Is the water safe to drink? A: Yes! The water is from the well. Q: Can I swim in the lake? Is there a beach? A: We have a small shoreline with a large shared dock. The water is very clear and great for swimming. Q: Is there enough room to park a boat/trailer? A: Yes! The parking area is large enough for 1-2 vehicles. Please do not block the garage. Q: What kind of fish are in Grindstone? A: Musky, Bass, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Trout, Perch and Walleye. Q: Do we have boat or canoe/kayak rentals? A: No, we don't however Hayward Outfitters/Hayward Water Sports does and they are located in town. Q: Are there hiking trails nearby? A: Yes, they are located all around the area. Check out the Hayward Chamber of Commerce site for hiking and other outdoor activities. Q: Is there a pier? A: Yes, there is a pier. Do not park boat at pier overnight. Boaters must bring their boat out of the water every day. The boat launch for Grindstone is a short drive from the house.

We had a great time despite the less than ideal weather conditions. Everything about the cabin was perfect, never had an issue with anything. Laura was great to work with and even let us check in early. Would stay here again

We had a great time. The only issues we had was that you had to park your trailer in an area that we couldn’t drive into. My trailer is very heavy for my boat and is not a one person job. I had to ask the neighbors to help me get it out of the area. Otherwise, very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay during birkie weekend. The cabin had lots of small but very nice convenient touches that made the stay very enjoyable. The only negative was that only one towel was provided, but it was not an issue since we had brought one as well. Thank you for being flexible on the day early check in to help avoid traveling during a snow storm.

Snowmobilers dream. Right on the trail overlooking the lake. Perfect accommodations, good satellite TV. Good Wi-Fi. Recently updated in excellent condition.

This was a cozy cabin, with a beautiful view of the lake. I enjoyed the quiet location and my husband enjoyed the fishing!

The cabin was a perfect spot for our family of 4. Very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The dock was a great spot for our son to fish, lake was nice for swimming and tubing, and we loved the deck for relaxing. Laura was easy to reach if needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Very clean, comfortable and tasteful cabin. Nice tv for rainy day. A lovely deck overlooking the lake. We saw eagles and loons. A quick and easy drive into town. There are several other cabins in this setting but it was still private and very quiet. Also nice for swimming!

My family and I (wife and 2 boys) loved our stay. My wife LOVED the way the cabin is finished and stated numerous times that the owners thought of everything. Owners have done a great job and you can’t beat the sunsets (and sun rises for us fishermen)

We had a great stay on Grindstone! The cabin was clean and cozy. We appreciated many things about the stay. The location was right on the snowmobile trails and close to the Birkie Trail. It was a cold weekend so not as much skiing as we had hoped, but we had a great time cooking and ringing in the new year. We would definitely consider booking again.
