This was a nice place to stay based on the cost. The outside shower was the best. It would be nice if it was closed off as this was our primary showering spot as the pressure was so good. The outside area was very inviting.

This RV worked out great for us. We are SCUBA divers who always want to be close to the shop where we are diving and this location was super! The RV accommodated two adults comfortably sleeping in separate bedrooms. We had everything we needed to dive mornings for three days. The place has a nice patio to spread out in and inside we had plenty of space. The bathroom is super small but manageable. The campground was pretty quiet during the week. I can't say what it would be like on a weekend. The owners were great on communication. We plan on booking again for future Key Largo diving.

We enjoyed our stay! It was in a great location. Neat little area with the hammocks, fire pit, pool! I’d love to come back. I will say, we had a hard time finding all the linens for the extra bedroom. We couldn’t find pillow cases. Maybe labels on the cabinets would be good to tell the guests where things are? Also, a list of things you all have like toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc. It’s just easier when you are flying in.

Communication was excellent in that a reply to any query was swift- owner went above & beyond to make our stay enjoyable.very clean & decorated tastefully. My sister stopped in for a night and was very impressed with the setup. YES i would book for a 3rd time next year!!!

We arrived late on check-in day (around 8PM), which wasn't a problem, but we entered the rental to find large ants crawling all over the furniture, floor, walls, and linens. Dead ants were littering the floor and in corners. I immediately contacted the owner who sent her cleaning woman to deal with the situation. The whole trailer was vacuumed and linens changed, but I attempted to explain to her that unless baits were placed, the problem would persist (she only spoke Spanish and I only speak English). The owner and I finally spoke on the phone and she alerted me she planned to sent pest control out first thing in the morning. Around 11pm we finally got kids settled for the night (I have 3 littles, four and under) but continued to battle live ants into the morning. The next day we vacated and went about our itinerary while pest control came. The owner communicated with us throughout the day and explained treatment took place, and that we could return that evening as planned. When we arrived that evening, around 8pm, there were still a handful of live ants. We vacuumed and cleaned again and put everyone to bed. I was refunded for the first night of our stay. The location is great and we would have enjoyed the amenities more if we had not been dealing with keeping ants off our kids. The trailer has the basic needs and the kids enjoyed the playground and being on the "patio."Master bed was not terribly comfy. Kids loved the back bedroom.

This was what we expected. It was a well maintained smaller travel trailer. Nice outside living area with very nice patio kitchen. The property is very well maintained with a nice pool, restrooms and showers. Everything you might need is very close.

We had a great time at property found the space accommodating and enjoyed the sunsets near the water. Enjoyed the TVs in bedrooms and outside area. Also outdoor shower and used the golf cart a lot. The host was very enthusiastic and responsive. Only point to improve on was grill seemed in need of cleaning and we couldn’t get the propane to work to light the grill. The upper beds in second bedroom had thin mattresses that weren’t very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!!!

This property is located in calusa campground in key largo and it is wonderful. The property itself was ideal for four of us to stay in. We all loved the outside kitchen and eating area. Definitely would stay here again

They only note I would add is check in is after 4 but the office closes at 4:45 we checked in late and it was fine but would have tried to arrive earlier if we knew. I would suggest any to stay with Sisi or at Calusa Campground!

Out of the way/quiet location. There does seem to be an issue with outdoor TV picking up campground internet. We used our phone hotspot to watch a movie one night but really didn’t go to the Keys to watch TV. If you’re going to use the grill get a tank for local store or campground office.

The grill was nice, but very hard to light. And parking on the site was very tight even for a car, if you bring anything bigger you'll have to park away from the site and walk.

We loved sitting outside on the patio dining and watching tv. There was an issue with WI-FI and the owner has an appointment to correct this. Very nice place for a short stay!

Pool not open but they are working on it. I would recommend this to friends for sure. We have already talking about coming back.

The campground was not accurately listed: NO pool on site to use or beach area for swimming; the pool has been under construction since Halloween 2021 and wasn’t open for use, never saw anyone working on it; Calusa security and office staff were not friendly or helpful, sometimes rude to guests, refused to sell us ice or propane on weekends; couldn’t get out of gate to walk, had to wait on car to come in our out, then run through while gate was open; WiFi is NOT available from the owner, our owner assured us this was accessible from the campground and we tried the codes on multiple devices and after speaking to other guests, no one was able to get on the Calusa wi-fi. There is a cat and raccoon problem in the resort, with a strong odor of their waste products and tracks of their nightly adventures on our car, patio and boat. Dogs are with most guests, some on leashes but many running about, watch where you walk.
Many guests were loud and obnoxious at all hours, security did drive through regularly but never saw them speak to anyone. Young kids going very fast on golf carts day and night. Roads hard to drive on, as RVs, boats, water toys and cars are jammed onto small lots and parked in various locations. Our trash and recycling were full on the day we arrived, no notice of days it would be picked up, and it had foul smell to enjoy on the patio. Animals would knock over trash, through out resort. Cleaning crews would mark Laundry appliances out of order to guests, but use for their needs.
Owner was quick to reply to issues and fixed TV. It was last minute trip and served our needs but not a location we will stay again or recommend to friends, when we go to the Keys. Thankful we had boat option and could get out of resort, Keys are beautiful and lots of great food!

The campground was perfect. The staff at the front gate were extremely polite and helpful. The shower house was clean and accommodating. The camper had a lovely outdoor patio with an outdoor kitchen. We did light cooking so the camper had everything that we needed. Tv on the patio was a nice touch.
The campground was quiet and there was little traffic, which made for a great week of relaxing outside.
There was miscommunication between the campground owner and the property manager.
We arrived after 5pm and there were no arrangements made for our family to pick up the key. Owner was helpful and contacted someone to bring the key. The manager took so long to bring the key that we had to contact the owner again. They did offer to drive down from Miami to unlock the unit but the manager finally showed up while they were on their way. The next day we discovered that our arrival date that was reported to the campground was incorrect.
The unit is close to a Publix and state parks, which is a bonus.
A short drive to other areas of the Keys to enjoy better beaches. The beaches in the state parks in Key Largo are small and have a lot of debris this time of year. We drove to Islamorada and it was spectacular.
Would definitely travel here again.

The campground was perfect. The staff at the front gate were extremely polite and helpful. The shower house was clean and accommodating. The camper had a lovely outdoor patio with an outdoor kitchen. We did light cooking so the camper had everything that we needed. Tv on the patio was a nice touch.
