Steps to the LaFitte Greenway!
North of the noise and saturated color of the Quarter is a New Orleans neighborhood that’s perfected the art of living. “Welcome to Mid-City,” read the signs on the neutral ground. And that’s truth in advertising. It’s the kind of place where your auto mechanic invites you to a crawfish boil and a total stranger may buy you a drink at an Irish pub or a cannoli at an Italian bakery. Take the red streetcar line up Canal to the Cemeteries (Mid-City’s dead neighbors are as interesting as the live ones) or bike the new 2.6-mile-long Lafitte Greenway that stretches from Basin Street to Carrollton Avenue and, conveniently, past a po’ boy shop or two – or 17 – with a sno-ball shop and a micro-brewery thrown in for good measure. Buttermilk biscuits. Live music. A bowl of Vietnamese pho. Who wouldn’t want to visit? Eat. Drink. Get up here. High-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace with a door give you the flexibility to catch up on work or stream between adventures. Central air conditioning, central heating, and ceiling fans keep every room comfortable no matter the weather outside.
Sleeping arrangements
Three bedrooms each offer a plush queen bed dressed with professionally cleaned linens, room-darkening shades for restful mornings, and a Smart TV for late-night viewing. Clothing storage includes walk-in closets, closets, and dressers, and the home sits on a single level with no interior stairs.
Kitchen & dining
The fully equipped kitchen is stocked for everything from quick breakfasts to full group meals. You'll find a GE stainless steel electric stove, a GE stainless steel single oven, a GE refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and a full set of cooking basics, dishes, and silverware. A drip coffee maker and French press keep mornings running smoothly, and extras like wine glasses, a toaster, and baking sheets are all on hand. Pull up a chair at the dining table and settle in.
Bathrooms
Two full bathrooms provide ample space for groups and families. Each is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, hair dryer, cleaning products, and hot water - everything you need without the packing stress. A bathtub is available for longer soaks after a full day out.

The front porch is the perfect spot to ease into fall mornings with a coffee in hand, taking in the quiet greenway views as the neighborhood wakes up. Out back, a private patio and fully fenced backyard give you a peaceful place to decompress after a day in the city. Free street parking is available right out front, and self check-in via smart lock makes arrival effortless any time of day.

Traveling with young children? A pack 'n play/travel crib (sheets provided) and a folding high chair with padding, straps, and food tray are both available upon request. An in-unit washer and dryer handle the inevitable, and babysitter recommendations are available if you'd like a night out.

Host was responsive from the booking to the leaving.House was pretty clean, floors were dirty, bring slippers to wear when at home…Kitchen was useful. Drip coffee maker. Plenty of products, may have to buy TP pending how many are staying with you.GREAT location for walking. Bagels, coffee, and a brewery just a block away.Whole Foods was 3 mins away. Parking right out front if you have a car. Would definitely stay here again!

The house was located in a great part of town. Close enough to walk to key locations but far enough away that it was nice and quiet. It was well appointed and clean and the host very responsive. We had an issue with the neighbor next door playing loud music after 1000p but the host stepped in to help get the music turned down eventually. All in all a great stay!

The place was perfect for our girls weekend! It was just a 10 minute walk to Canal St where you can catch the trolley. There is a great bagel and coffee shop just a few blocks down. We were able to walk during the day and feel completely safe. The beds were super comfy. Everything seemed brand new in the unit. The only negative was that we could've used more fresh towels. We only had two in the master, and with women - we typically use two towels per person. Would definitely book here again!

This adorable home was just as described, with a comfortable living area, 3 spacious bedrooms and 2 full baths! I was even able to enjoy my coffee on the porch in the morning. The location was great - quiet, safe, and easily accessible by cab to the French Quarter and other locations (walking and public transportation are an option, but it was hot and just as easy to split a cab). Also, Whole Foods within walking distance!
TV, Netflix and air conditioning worked great, and clean towels and bath products were in strong supply. The beds were comfortable, though there were definitely protective plastic coverings under the sheets that made for sleeping “hot” and a bit uncomfortable. I understand the owner's desire to protect their property, but for 3 responsible adults in their 30's, it was overkill.
The home was certainly clean, but the owner may want to check in from time to time to ensure the cleanings are up to their standards - some things could have been dusted a bit more, there was some residual soap scum and buildup in the shower head, and a couple of random items left in drawers that were obviously from previous visitors.
But all in all, would definitely book again and recommend! If you're looking for a quiet and comfortable space with easy access to the French Quarter, you've found it!
