Giovanni and his family and staff were all very friendly and welcoming - even got to unexpectedly celebrate the birth of his grandson born a couple days prior with his family and friends. The vista from the rooms is so beautiful and the breakfast spread is wholesome and bountiful. The location was surprisingly central (close enough to Dorgali and Cala Gonone) and it was very easy to access the property as it sits on a major road (so no narrow one lane country roads). Lots of parking. Peaceful and felt very safe. (Since they had a lot going on with the birth, they didn’t offer dinners which was understandable so you will be in for a treat with that).
The rooms were simple but comfy and clean. My room and neighbouring rooms had hot water issues in the showers (lukewarm water in mine) but other rooms were fine. They were happy to give you a new room if there was a problem.
Little improvements that would make the rooms better: a kettle, ceramic mugs instead of paper ones, doormat, and warm light globes. They don’t have kitchen facilities but do provide a fridge and a coffee pod machine.
In saying that, the hospitality, the food, the view all surpass the little incidentals.
