About this house rental
Nestled in Cornelius, this charming house for $366 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. The “Serenity Now – LKN” cottage is located on a private drive that is quiet and kid-friendly with plenty of lake to go around! Come to Points End Drive to be only minutes away from Mooresville amenities and the cultural offerings of Charlotte, but light years away from the hustle and bustle! With 185 feet of shoreline, vast lake views, and a 120-foot pier/dock with 15+ feet of water to keep your boat, there is no better place to enjoy Lake Norman! The cottage is approximately 1,500 sq. ft. with 2 bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms and is an ideal place for up to 4 adults and 2 kids. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with the master bedroom being a king size bed and the guest suite with a queen size bed and a twin-size bunk bed. For social time, the beautifully renovated kitchen features full-size appliances (range/oven, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher) and tons of counter space for all of your culinary adventures. This is coupled with raised countertops making the kitchen a place to have meals, as well as lounge. The living room features a leather couch sectional with chaise sitting opposite a 55-inch flat-screen TV with basic cable. It is also equipped to stream digital content from your accounts (e.g., Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roku). There is also an HDMI cable available for you to plug in your own devices (e.g., DVD player, gaming systems, Firestick). Directly overlooking the lake and private dock, the sunroom has floor-to-ceiling windows to soak in the beauty. This room can be enjoyed from a pair of comfortable lounge chairs or a farm table that seats six. This table is perfect for seated meals together, or your next game night. The open floor plan between the kitchen, living room, and sunroom means that you cannot escape the million-dollar views that this cottage has to offer. Don't forget to add a boat rental to your stay to get the most out of your Lake Norman experience! We have partnered with a nearby marina to provide our guests with brand new tritoons - delivered right to your dock for your ease! Just ask us about boat rentals and we will arrange for one to be delivered to you! We had a wonderful few days on Lake Norman in Serenity Now!! It is such a cute lake house with a nice upgraded interior and has everything that you will need for your stay! The lot on the lake is in an awesome location at the end of Brawley School road and the homes on the drive to the home are beautiful!! We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! We used the kayaks and outdoor grill and rented a boat that was delivered directly to our private dock!! We also used the fire pit at night so we could enjoy a beautiful full moon over the lake!! We will definitely rent this house again the next time we have another Lake Norman vacation!!! We would highly recommend it for 2-4 people!!! It is a cute little home with a gorgeous lot on a wonderful lake!!!

We had a great week at the house on the lake! Our son fished off the dock and we used the kayaks daily. Great location, house was well stocked with everything we could need in the kitchen. There was even a closet with games and a bookshelf with lots of books.

My husband and I were in town to figure out where we would like to buy when we move to the area. The house was perfect to relax in and enjoy the lake views. We even took the kayaks out to explore the lake. Would definitely stay here again.

Great property for a visit to Lake Norman. Views of the lake are peaceful and picturesque. Kitchen is well stocked for home cooked meals. Easy to explore the region from this location. Quick trips to great restaurants, winery, and waterfront fun.

Little piece of Heaven
This property is amazing on the inside and the sunrise views are spectacular, well worth getting up early every morning to enjoy from the end of the dock or from the house itself. The kitchen was well stocked with all items needed to stay in to cook. I so appreciate entering an exceptionally clean rental, it was perfect! If you have ever been to this part of Lake Norman you know it is just an lovely quiet community. This property is just the right size for a two couple or small family to enjoy.

We had an incredible stay at this perfect cottage! Views and location were beautiful, and home was very comfortable, clean, extremely well equipped and just perfect for our family (2 adults, 2 kids ages 12 and 14). The other reviews were totally accurate in terms of how well equipped the home was, especially the kitchen. I loved the water access and how we could just pop out the front door for swimming or paddleboarding. Even on the days there was rain or storms it was super convenient to get in a quick swim when the weather cleared. The water was so clean and refreshing. We enjoyed early morning paddleboarding and gorgeous sunrises. Beds were comfortable and everyone slept well after days in the lake. House was plenty spacious and I loved the openness of the front rooms. And owner was super responsive and went above and beyond expectations as a host. We’re frequent VRBO renters and I’d say this is most certainly one of our best experiences. I don’t really have any constructive suggestions… except keep doing what you’re doing! Thanks for a great week!

Wonderful stay for family of 4
This was our week 2 at Lake Norman. The view from the house were spectacular. The best sunrises. The outside of the house looks like an old family cabin until you get inside. Everything is upgraded and looks new. The location is very private and the neighbors are lovely. The lake area is the best. Far enough off the channel but huge areas to wakeboard and tube. We even had a few fun islands to go explore. We had a wonderful time and will be back.

Sweet Retreat
The VIEW steals the show, but overall this location and cottage were so nice. Very clean, convenient, quiet, and well-equipped. We enjoyed sunrises and swimming from the dock, taking our boat out, paddle boarding, fishing, and kayaking. Even invited friends over one night ... they were amazed! Never had to reach out to the owners ... the house was fully stocked and had everything we needed. Toward the end of our stay, we even saw an unaltered double rainbow stretch over Lake Norman! Peaceful and serene. We had a fabulous time.

Perfect location for riding bikes, scooters or taking a walk. Very quite dead end street. The yard is large as well as plenty of driveway parking so we had no problem getting our boat trailer parked. It's a shared driveway with neighbor "Kenny" who was very pleasant. The view cant be beat. Lake at the edge of the yard. We hung a hammock down at the boat dock. Wonderful breeze every night coming in from the water felt great. Met neighbors on both sides and they were very friendly. All appliances worked fine. Inside of home very clean and updated. We couldn't have asked for another thing during the week we stayed in July. Nice place.

Absolutely Amazing Vacation At This Property
We had an ABSOLUTELY wonderful stay at this property and want to THANK Sarabeth for the opportunity.
I cannot say enough about this home.
VERY clean and accommodating, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIEW of Lake Norman and so peaceful and relaxing.
Sarabeth was ALWAYS available and got back almost instantly whenever we had a question.
The home is very well stocked with anything you could need (although we brought much of our own things) it was nice to see if we forgot something it was there for our use.
The home is a nice size and PLENTY of room for a family. The yard is large and on the edge of the Lake.
You cannot beat the location and the view!!! It was so nice to have a dock to sit out on and relax!!!
I seriously cannot think of ONE thing that I did not like about this home and CANNOT WAIT to come back again in the near future!
