The house itself is great: plenty of space for our family of 5, tastefully decorated, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood, comfortable beds, air conditioners, well stocked bathrooms and kitchen. The beach near the neighborhood was amazing. Golf cart was perfect. But, our stay was difficult because the amenities promised were not available. Yashira assured me that renting this house included access to the Hyatt resort amenities. After arriving and having trouble getting through the guards at the Hyatt resort gate, I contacted Michael for help. He assured me that we were on the list. The next four days were just as difficult. No security guard or manager could verify that we were on the list. On the 5th day we were kicked out. We decide to try the neighborhood pool. Also not allowed there. The HOA of this neighborhood doesn’t allow short term rentals & the only way to use the pool there is if the owner is present. If you’re looking for a quiet house near the grand reserve golf course, this is a great option. If you’re looking for a house to stay at with a pool, this isn’t it. From what we experienced, this house has no connection/membership/access to the Hyatt resort up the road.

The first picture you see for this property is the large beautiful pool at the Hyatt Regency Grande Reserve located just outside the gated community. Although the property itself was nice the Hyatt pool was the main draw as this was where we would spend most of our time. The listing indicated that guests had access to the Hyatt facilities including the pool. I contacted Yashira before I booked the property specifically to make sure that access to the Hyatt pool would not be a problem. She assured me it would not. There were other properties I was looking at that were just as nice with their fantastic pools. I booked this property because of Yashira’s response. She assured me because she is a member, her guests gained access to the same privelages. Upon arrival, it was not clear to me what I needed to do to show that I was staying in a rental house that had membership to the Hyatt. I asked Yashira if there was a physical pass to use to get in. She said no. This is where the story started to change. Now she told me I simply had to go in and tell the guard that I was coming to eat at a restaurant. After eating and using their facilities she said it is then ok to use their pool. It immediately became clear to me that she was not a “member” as she said she was. She was telling us that we can basically just sneak into the Hyatt and nobody would notice. We did this one day and everything felt awkward. We were being asked questions and we were now worried about getting caught.

Good location. Found some good restaurants just a short 15-minute drive in town. For breakfast or brunch: Lluvia Deli & Bar & Artefacto Dinner was Bungalu restaurant and bar.

We visited this house for a long weekend getaway. There were 6 of us and the house is well suited for that number. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very comfortable and modern. The toiletries were a nice and unexpected touch. We did not receive any check in information until we arrived at the house at check in time. That wasn't ideal, but it was definitely manageable. The house was very clean. We were disappointed to find out we couldn't use the community pool since we were staying in a short term rental and that isn't allowed by the community bylaws. So we opted for the private beach down the road toward the Hyatt, and it was delightful! We had the beach nearly to ourselves each day. The rain forest backdrop was beautiful and all of the locals we encountered were kind and welcoming. We did not go out to eat meals, but rather planned to eat in as our group enjoys cooking. I would suggest some additions to the kitchen cookware assortment and dishes would be appreciated by future guests who wish to "eat in" versus going out. And, for any golfers who may be wondering, the guys in our group played golf at the resort and really enjoyed the course. We had a wonderful trip.

We are a family of 4 who traveling with friends who were staying at the Hyatt Grand Reserve. we didn’t want to squish into one room at the resort in, felt extremely lucky to have found this property a mile and a half away. It’s clean, spacious, and stylish. The beds were very comfortable. In a gated community. The only suggestion I would make is to have a clearer guest guide given out before arrival (instructions on how to get into the resort, where to eat, etc.). The resort restaurants require reservations days ahead of time (at least during Feb break which may be busier than usual), so be prepared to either make reservations or find local restaurants. The golf cart was a fun addition! Overall great stay!!

Every thought of my trip warms my heart and brings a smile on my face! To say that the home was beautiful and accommodating merely provides an accurate description; the home was a DREAM COME TRUE! As the birthday girl I was privy to the master suite and spent many a day enjoying the views of the rainforest and mountains from my private balcony. The bathrooms and kitchen had everything you could need and the owners exceeded expectations by providing additional amenities just in case you may have forgotten a thing or two. Had I not seen the neighbors, I would have believed we had none as it was extremely peaceful at ALL times. If you find yourself on a trip to PR, stop your search right here: this is YOUR DREAM VACATION HOME!

First time using VRBO and this was a really good experience overall. The property was well equipped with all toiletries and necessities you would need, very well decorated and looks newly renovated. Would be a great addition to have a hot tub and blackout curtains but other than that everything was excellent.
