I have to say that the hosts were so personable and friendly. Went way, way, way beyond to make sure we were happy. The location of the unit within the larger resort area was good and we could walk to the beach club. But the semi-private pool was so luxurious. Restaurants and groceries were not far. El Yunque is so close!

We had a wonderful stay over the holidays with our family of 6. Check-in was very smooth and easy. And hosts were always available for questions, restaurant recommendations, etc. loved the place - very comfortable and we really enjoyed spending time on the beautiful covered balcony. Would definitely come back!

Property was exactly what we expected! We had a great time! Had a little problem with the refrigerator but Vanessa, the property manager, was on top of it and send the repair guy right away! Vanessa was great communicating with us.

We had a wonderful stay. Vanessa was super helpful and fun to talk with. The view was gorgeous and the pool was clean and right next to the apartment. The apartment slept the 10 of us comfortably. The mattresses are surprisingly comfortable and high quality. We loved the pool table too! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

First of all we chose this place for the pool table and it had 4 bathrooms. We get there and was told that unit was not available due to it flooding and we were given another unit. Not what we wanted but overall satisfied. The host was gracious enough to give us a credit for the inconvenience. We stayed in the unit 3 days. On the 3rd day water was gushing like a faucet from the ac unit. This of course had nothing to do with the unit or the host. There was work being done outside and the roof guys were power washing the roof. Vanessa came right away and offered to put us in another (upscale) unit. She came right away with her son and helped us repack all of our belongings and moved us to this beautiful villa where we spent the rest of our vacation (7 days total) I will say this in spite of all the bs Vanessa was VERY apologetic, helpful, attentive and just a phone call away. She went above and beyond to make our stay a comfortable and enjoyable vacation and I will definitely stay again.

Love the place! Comfortable, spacious and so close to the beach and resort pool. Perfect number of bathrooms (4). The beach accessories such as buggy boards, chairs, ice chests, etc. were a plus. Host/hostess were very attentive and prompt to respond to our needs or questions in a timely manner. Would definitely stay at this property again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Plenty of space for our family of six. So nice to have multiple bathrooms. We loved the beach and the beach club pool. We also loved the closeness to El Yunque. Vanessa was super helpful!

The resort and villas looks alike houses in Greece. The beech was walkable distance and each villa had there pool. My family enjoyed the stay at las Brisas, the host was very kind and gave us great orientation for our stay. We recommend others for a great time here it’s safe and enjoyable.

Pros: location is great in gated community by the Wyndham hotel, 2-minute drive to beach, 10-15 minutes to El Yunque rain forest, etc. All bathrooms appear to have been recently updated along with kitchen.
Cons: we didn't have hot water in 2 of the 4 showers but managed by just using the 2 that had warm water. We also had an issue with the door lock that ended up taking some time to resolve. We couldn't find some basic necessities like dish towels or pot holders which made cooking a bit awkward. The exterior of these units definitely needs some work. It appears that they've been pretty battered by hurricanes and time.
I think we'd stay in this area again if we had the chance but might hope some minor improvements are made to this particular unit.

It was a beautiful place. The host was amazing very responsive and helpful. They gave us a lot of very helpful information like great places to dine, and visit. The place also came equipt with everything that you would need, like beach chairs, and coolers, to floating toys, and washer and dryer. There was construction going on at the property which was a little inconvenient because we were asked to park really far from the property for one of the days, and the pool was dirt because of the work from the roof, and the front of our door was muddy because of the work, but the host did contact the property and we were moved to a closer parking spot.They also had other pools a little further away from our place but just as beautiful for us to enjoy. besides that very little hiccup, my family very much enjoyed our selves. The host were really great and we would def stay again. Thank you for being super great to my family and I and hope to do it again real soon.

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The beach and pools were beautiful. Beach shallow enough for the kids- ages 6/7. We had plenty of space. The beach chairs and coolers was a nice touch. Would recommend and stay again.

A huge, well equipped, immaculately clean unit in a fantastic resort with pools and a beach. The host was incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy beds; plenty of hot water; balcony with a view of the grounds; pool table; great wifi; four bathrooms! Only thing to know is the drive from the resort's main gate to the unit itself is long (~10 minutes), which you just need to factor in if you're going to be coming and going a lot.
This was a great place for our family stay, and we would be delighted to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Cima was a very welcoming and responsive villa owner. He met us at checkin and gave us very useful information about the surrounding areas and what places to visit from the perspective of a local. His place was clean and very spacious. Our family of 12 had plenty of room to spread out. It was very helpful to have 4 full bathroom for getting ready in the mornings or taking showers at night. The pool table was very entertaining for evenings after a long day at the beach or rain forest. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would rent this villa again if we are back in Puerto Rico.

Cima was awesome. We had delayed flights he met us at 2am. Super communicative and very helpful. Accommodations were far and above expected cannot recommend enough will definitely book next year.

Rio Mar Beach Resort is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. The Villa was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The resort location is unbeatable. I frequently travel to PR and this is one of my favorite areas on the island. We strongly recommend the Villa for family and friends.

We had a great stay here over Christmas. The place is nicely renovated and furnished. The dining table that converts to a pool table was a big after dinner hit. The kitchen is well equipped for a week long stay. The cluster pool is directly across the street and the club pool is a quick drive with plenty parking. Communication with the host is excellent.

We truly enjoyed our stay. Host had beach chairs, coolers available for use. Also had a reg coffee pot & a Keurig coffee maker. Having 4 full size bathrooms with walk-in showers was great. Also having a laundry room made it very convenient. Planning on returning again next year.

This was a great stay for our family vacation. Location was perfect central spot to get to all the things we want to see and do. Amenities were perfect. We had the pool closest to the villa to ourselves all week. Enjoyed sitting out on the covered patio for coffee in the morning.

We stayed at this property from 8/3-8/12, we were familiar with the area as we have family close by and knew that the property would not disappoint. Patricia contacted us a few days prior to arrival with instructions on what to do once we arrived, unfortunately they could not meet us in person but ensured that we had all of the information needed. Apartment was clean, super spacious and was stocked with all needed essentials. There was an information binder which provided information as well as recommendations for activities and restaurants. All in all we had a great stay, found the apartment super comfortable and has a wonderful time.

We loved our stay at Mameyes II! It was exactly what we expected! Great location! Clean! House is well stocked with all necessities. The owner was very helpful in explaining everything in the house and provides a very detailed book with local restaurants, things to do and available resort amenities. Would love to stay here again! We had a great time!

The location is very close to El Yunque, the Luquillo kiosks for great food, and 30 minutes from Fajardo. Great communication with the hosts, they always provide detailed information about the villa’s check-in and check-out procedures, plus a binder with local attractions and restaurants. This was our second stay at their properties and we’re already looking forward to a future stay. :)

Lovely property, clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Pool is right across the villa and the beach is minutes away by car. The beach is beautiful and the not overcrowded. We had a small issue with hot water in two bathrooms and lost power on the last night there. Two things that were out of their control. They processed a refund of $200 for the inconvenience. Besides that, everything was perfect. Plenty of room for a family of 9. Pool was within steps of the Villa. The unit was fully equipped with everything we needed. Pool table was a hit. We played every day/night! We were within minutes of The Luquillo Kiosks and other restaurants and supermarkets. The property owner had a binder with suggested restaurants, bakeries,. and things to do which came in handy.
The ocean was a short walk away!

This villa had hot water issues and roaches which really freaked us out. We did see two dead roaches when checking in but the owner assured us it was due to tropical environment but they spray to ensure they have no bugs. We didn’t notice until we got roach spray and began spraying ourselves and then the activity began in the kitchen area. We advised the owner of no hot water and only then did he show us the switch to the hot water tank was off so he turned it on. The water was still only lukewarm until we adjusted the temperature gauge. It would be nice if I could get some type of credit adjustment because paying $2000 and sharing our villa with roaches was not part of our vacation plan. Hopefully we don't take any home with us. I have never seen roaches at at villa i e stayed at whenever I come to Puerto Rico but this villa has live baby roaches and I'm assuming mother roaches are in the kitchen under the cabinets, We also bought AAA batteries and some AA batteries as some of the remotes to use the TVs and AC needed batteries replaced. When I contacted the owner upon checkout about the roaches his response was we should have said something sooner because he would have moved us. We did not know that was an option so of course we never said anything until checking out so that he would know that his villa had roaches but he should have told us the first day when we checked in and we seen dead roaches that if we seen any live ones to call him and he would move us somewhere else, how are we supposed to know that also how do I even know he’s telling the truth. Be careful this place has roaches and I have videos as proof!!

We brought our grown children to Rio Mar for their first trip to PR. We had a wonderful time. The villa was amazing. We enjoyed the pool steps from the front door. We loved sitting outside and playing dominos at night. The kids took the golf cart and went to the beach and the pool by the beach.
Everyone had their own room and own bathroom. The beds were so comfortable. We loved everything about it and we are already talking about our next trip to Villa Placida. Thank you very much. Kathleen
