The owners are top-notch! They left nothing to chance for us and their thoughtfulness can be seen throughout their property. From the very comfortable beds to beach chairs to a welcome snack, it's obvious that Roberto and Eileen know how to take care of people who come to stay at their property. They were super responsive to any questions we had, and even reminded us of other amenities they had! It was a great trip and we'd stay there again for sure!

Really loved just the place! One of my kids has now requested that we return to the condo "every February". Beautiful views, comfortable living spaces, beach/pool/soccer/tennis/basketball all walkable. Great places to eat/hike/enjoy yourself super close by. Hosts were incredibly responsive before and during the trip. Best Vrbo experience we have had.

This was perfect location for us as it was close to El Yunque and not far from old San Juan. The view is the best in the complex. Loved sitting on the porch watching the waves. Sleeping to the sounds of the ocean was wonderful! Had a great time on the boogie boards that are provided in the condo. Short drive to places to eat. Owners had great communication with us and checked in with us to make sure we were ok and warned us of any rip currents. They have lots of beach items to use, such as beach chairs, beach bag, snorkel stuff, etc. Unit could use some updating but it was very clean and saw no bugs while there. Has electric shutters that can be opened with switches on the wall. there is also a control box for the security gate entrance to the complex that you can use. Great amenities - complimentary wine and beer much appreciated! Would definitely stay here again.

Our Family of 5 loved our stay at this beach condo. The kitchen was well stocked, bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. The roof top patio was a nice add and having two decks was great. The condo had almost too much furniture in it but that also made for a place for everyone to sit (would feel a little more open if there was a little less on the main deck or that beach stuff was stored on the roof top patio).
The quick walk (about 30 yards) to the beach was amazing and the views and sounds of the water from your decks was priceless. The walks on the beach were a highlight every morning. Close to the Grocery, restaurants, the rainforest and a quick drive to San Juan.
If we vacation again in San Juan this would be our first choice. Great complex, great host.

This was a great place to stay and unwind. The view from the balcony was awesome. The courtyard was an added bonus and a fun place to chill. And Mar Chiquita, a superb beach, is a minute walk down the beach . Yes you cannot swim directly in front of this unit because of the rocky shoreline but you can still walk along the water. I would recommend water shoes or similar. We mostly cooked and ate in , but there are a few restaurants within a short drive. There’s also a small grocery minutes away. Definitely recommend a vehicle for getting around as this is not in a town . But that’s also what we loved about it ! Make sure and check out the small cave across the street .

If you have a question the host Robert is very prompt with a reply. Some of our family used the upper deck/ roof patio. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and any type of kitchen appliances you may need. The beach is close and clean. Your on vacation but it feels like home.

This was our favorite Vrbo! It was clean, easy to get there and get in. The rooftop terrace was a favorite with beautiful views from both sides! The beach was nice and there are plenty of restaurants and things to do that were close. We would love to stay here again and definitely recommend it!

Beautiful Oceanfront in great location!
We had a wonderful stay here. The condo is very well appointed, the beach view is gorgeous, and the beach is fabulous. Our hosts were very helpful and prompt with any questions. Our hosts went out of their way to make our stay a vacation to remember. This is a nice location between San Juan and Farjardo. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful beach and a wonderful host!!
Our family just returned from a fantastic trip to Puerto Rico! Our host, Roberto was amazing from the moment we booked our stay at his condo to the day after we returned home, he was very reponsive to any question or need we expressed! We had more than enough room for our family of five in the well stocked home, everything you needed and more! Well stocked kitchen, coolers, beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear and more was available to us! The roof top terrace was my favorite spot (except for the beach) with its fantastic view of the swaying palm trees and surf to one side and the cloud covered peak of El Yunque on the other, and did I forget to mention the hammock?!? We walked a great deal of the beaches in the area and it was by far the best! Sand dollars a plenty washed to the shore of this very clean beach! We will definitely be back, and I hope, sooner rather than later!

A comfortable apartment on a beautiful beach
We spent the last week of March in Roberto's wonderful condo. There was plenty of space for us and our three adolescent boys and the condo was very well equipped for cooking, eating and enjoying the beach. I can't say enough about the beach - very clean, great waves, and almost uninhabited (unlike the stretch by the Wyndham which was wall to wall chairs). The undertow would be a little too much for very young children, but our boys loved boogie boarding and surfing. We tore ourselves away from the beach long enough to tour Old San Juan, sail on the Amazing Grace in San Juan harbor, go snorkeling, hike and zip line in the rain forest, and visit the hot springs on the south side of the island. And eat at kioskos and road-side wagons and, best of all, Bebos near the airport! Thank you, Roberto for opening your condo to us winter-weary vacationers.

Perfect Family Vacation
This was the perfect spot for my family. There were 4 adults and two children (2 & 4) and we stayed for a week. The condo set up was great and we felt like there was enough space for everyone. There was an eating area on the deck and also inside by the kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped and well stocked with the essentials. The 3 bedrooms were perfect - 2 of them had queen beds and the 3rd room had two full sized beds which was great for the kids. There were beach chairs, beach toys and other items at the condo to use.
The roof top terrace had great views and had an eating area to enjoy the breeze. Half of it was shaded and the other half was in the sun. The beach was almost private and you could walk forever and find sand dollars. The grounds of the complex were immaculate - the playground was great for the kids and the pool was wonderful and quiet. There was also a smaller kiddie pool perfect for little ones. When we went there were not a lot of people at the complex so it seemed like we had it all to ourselves.
It took about 10 minutes to get to most restaurants and grocery stores/pharmacies. We visited the rain forest twice for hiking and the Luquillo Kiosks for dinner which were both about 15 minutes away. We planned on doing other excursions but were so happy with the pool and beach that we didn't feel the need to go anywhere else.
Roberto was very responsive for anything we needed while we were there. I would not hesitate to stay there again with my family.

Everything as advertised. Very well equipped. Incredible rooftop terrace. Great location on the beach and a short drive to the jungle and kiosks. Roberto is a wonderful host. Highly recommended. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Excellent and relaxing space and very kid friendly!
Roberto was super nice and really went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. The penthouse was right directly on the beach and the top floor is a huge open deck with a bar area. We enjoyed how quiet things were and just relaxed on the semi private beach. Ground transportation is slim in that area so I would suggest trying to rent a car. The National Park is across the street and an awesome place to visit as well.

Great Property in Quiet, Safe Location
This is the second time we stayed at Bosque del Mar in the past 4 years. During Spring Break it is very quiet. We basically have the condo area to ourselves. We enjoy this rental as it faces the ocean and has a roof top balcony. The balcony provided an area to gaze at stars at night and relax. The condo also has a very nice sized pool. We met the Vice President of the condo this year and he welcomed us with open arms. The condo is well maintained. The beach was cleared of seaweed and debris unlike other properties. Roberto provided a nice welcome basket and provided many accessories such as coolers, tennis rackets, beach chairs, etc. You won't be disappointed!!!

Great Host and Great Location!
Roberto was a wonderful host. He was quick to respond to emails and texts, very helpful regarding local information and recommendations, and even left a welcome basket for us. It was a pleasure renting from him!
The condo is lovely. It's well stocked, roomy, quiet, comfortable, and the location is unbeatable! It's oceanfront. There is a wonderful view through the palms from both balconies and the upper terrace to the surf, and beyond, to the turquoise water. The beach itself was clean, with fine sand, practically deserted and wide (see the satellite view via Google maps).
We recommend, as does Roberto I think, Rico Pan bakery for baked goods and sandwiches which is right on PR 3 about 5 minutes away. We visited El Yunque and loved that. I recommend Kayaking Puerto Rico in Fajardo if you want to do the bio bay paddle. They were friendly, professional, and fun! They advised us upon booking that there was much less bioluminescent activity. This is because of the seasonal variation and cooler water in February and they discounted the price because of that. It was still a very nice and informative trip.
We took a day trip into Old San Juan and enjoyed that much more than I thought we would (we're not much for cities). The old Spanish city is beautiful with lots of shops and restaurants. The trick is just finding a place to park.
I highly recommend Puerto Rico and and Roberto's condo for a relaxed beach vacation!

Beachfront condo
We loved this condo! It was right on the beach and accommodated two families with children comfortably (8 people; children ages 9, (2) 11 and 13). There were lots of seating areas and room to spread out with the two decks, as well as the private roof top deck with grill. I best part was being able to hear and see the ocean and walk directly out to it. There is a keyed gate to get to the beach; we always felt completely safe. We practically had the beach to ourselves each day and were able to set-up provided beach chairs steps away from the condo. Roberto even had a small cooler available to use for drinks on the beach! Right in front of the condo we jumped the waves and used the boogie boards that Roberto provided. You could also walk in each direction on the incredibly clean and sandy beach. We went walking each day and hunting for sand dollars, always finding at least one. If you go left on the beach the water in calmer where you can try snorkeling. We didn't have a lot of success but it was fun looking and we were able to see some fish. The children also had the option of the pool, tennis, soccer, or baskball court on the property.
While we were there we went on a mini-boat snorkeling tour and the bio bay tour through Kayaking Puerto Rico. Both were fabulous and highly recommended. We also went independently to the El Yungue rain forest (very close by) and Old San Juan and the fort there, Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Both of those trips were amazing as well! We attempted to do the Kayak Money Island tour but the winds were too high and water too rough.
We cooked on the rooftop deck several times but dined out at the following restaurants.
1. At Montemar we enjoyed the food but they were very slow and it was very loud.
2. Antojitos had a beautiful setting but they were out of most things we ordered and the food wasn't great.
3. At the Luquillo kiosks we tried the Ceviche restaurant. It was overpriced and the food wasn't' that great there either.
4. Our favorite was definitely Don Pepe. The food was delicious, nice atmosphere and not long wait times on food.
Overall we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and fun vacation. Roberto was awesome from our first phone contact to emails and texts with questions/info throughout our trip.

The owner, Roberto was very accomodating. Beautiful condo right on the beach. Had everything we needed for family vacation. Practically had the whole beach to ourselves with plenty of palms for shade. Upper terrace was the place to be for evening cocktails and BBQ. Nice views. I would stay again and recommend to my family and friends.

Beautiful, fun and relaxing week on the beach!
We had such a nice week at this condo (301A at Bosque del Mar). The 3 bedrooms, spacious living room and kitchen area, 2 balconies and the roof terrace was the perfect get-away for our week in Puerto Rico. The pool area and beach were not crowded at all, and the beach is one of the most beautiful I've been to...warm water, fine sand, small waves, shade and sun, and we could walk and walk on the beach for exercise or just looking for shells. Old San Juan, and Fajardo were within a hour drive, the rainforest, and the kiosks at Luquillo were within 15 minutes. Our hosts left us a tasty basket of goodies too! We would love to visit again!

Great condo on the beach
We really enjoyed our stay at this condo (301A at Bosque Del Mar). It is truly beachfront! It had a perfect layout for our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 young kids). A private roof deck had a fabulous ocean/beach view (as did the 2 terraces off of the master and living room). The beach was generally empty and gorgeous. It had some waves - but fairly small and manageable. We also loved the short drive over (less than 10 mins) to Luquillo for totally flat water, idyllic setting, and snack bar. Also close to El Yunque, which we really enjoyed. The owner, Roberto, responded very quickly to all questions by email. Very easy to work with and stocks this condo nicely. We hope to go back soon!

No surprises! Condo described very well. Very accomidating
The condo was very nice. It slept our family (7) very comfortably. The kitchen was stocked with your normal kitchen items and Wal-Mart (Amigos) was a quick drive down the street. The beach was literally a minute walk. Rain Forrest a quick drive.
The condo had beach toys and chairs for us to use and they came in very handy. We rented a car halfway through because taxis were costly. Driving was very much like we are use to in the US.
A car/taxi IS a must to get anywhere. (San Juan or Carolina PR 45min drive)

Beautiful, quiet, well-equipped condo
This condo at Bosque del Mar was perfect for my family (2 parents plus 2 college student children)! It is a clean, comfortable, well-equipped oceanfront condo in a very quiet location just a few steps to a nearly deserted beach which is perfect for walking or wading. The condo was as pictured on the listing (or even better!) and had everything we needed. The condo complex is clean and modern and also has a pool and tennis court which looked very nice. There was a guard at the gated entrance and patrolling the grounds of the condo complex, so we felt very secure. Roberto was easy to communicate with, very helpful during the reservation process, and even checked in with us during the stay to make sure everything was going well. Our favorite part of the condo was the view of the ocean from any of the three decks, and we spent each morning enjoying the view of the ocean through the palms, the sound of the waves, and the pleasant ocean breeze. We really appreciated all the equipment that was available to us at the condo (beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, surf/boogie boards, BBQ grill, beach towels). When we got to the condo, Roberto had even provided a basket of goodies to welcome us! The location is convenient, just a few minutes drive from Highway 3 and from El Yunque Rainforest and the Luquillo Kioscos. Our favorite activities in the area were zip-lining and hiking in the rainforest, taking a snorkeling cruise to Culebra, and an electric boat tour of the bioluminescent bay, Laguna Grande. We highly recommend these activities and Roberto's condo.

Bosque Del Mar in December
Righ on the Beach - complex is close to the water, and this unit in particular is very close to the beach. The huge roof patio and grill was also very nice. Condo includes a lot of beach chairs, coolers, games, towels, etc.
Roberto was extremely responsive over email. He got back to me with any questions immediately.
Rio Mar resort is a short drive (5 minutes) or a long walk (20 minutes). You do need a car if you want to leave the complex for food, rain forest, restaurant.
AC is permanently out in the living room - got a little warm in that room, but not miserable.
Price was very competitive relative to other options nearby, and the price was a great value. I was very pleasantly surprised and feel this condo exceeded all our expectations.

The pics don't do it justice, absolutely gorgeous!
This condo is very clean and comfortable. The living room seems a bit small, but we barely spent any time there, you'll want to spend your time on the beach or out on the rooftop terrace. The rooftop terrace is huge, and private. From here you can see the beach and the rainforest at the same time, very pretty. The condo is right on the beach, in the photos you can see some bushes in the way, but it's only a 30 second walk to the beach, literally! And from the roof you get a nice view of the ocean, it's heaven. I would definitely stay here again!

Perfect match for our family vacation.
Spacious and with all necessary amenities. Walking distance to the beach. The property, well mantained and a perfect match for our family vacation. We had a splendid time. Also, ideal for friends/couple retreat. You'll see more than the listing description when you get there. Avid tennis players like us would have wish the tennis court to be in better condition but overall the community area and facilities are very good. Check out the "kioskos" at Luquillo when it comes to seafood dining and more. We won't forget the owner's thoughtful gesture to welcome us. Certainly, we'll be back. Highly recommended.
