Just 300 feet from the shore and miles away from daily cares, this ocean view home offers not just a place for families to reconnect and decompress, but endless opportunities to create lifetime memories and moments. Park your car in the carport and enjoy the ground-level amenities that include an outside shower, a fish-cleaning station, and private heated salt water pool with a convenient outside air-conditioned half bathroom. No need to haul bags up flights of steps - an elevator whisks you to your destination. First stop: a mid-range landing featuring a washer/dryer nook. The door opens on the first level to a furnished game room the kids may never leave; three elegantly styled bedrooms, each equipped with an LED Smart TV (featuring Roku) and DVD player, and a deck and covered porch that protects a soothing hot tub from the elements. The next mid-range level reveals a convenient half bathroom. Last stop and the pinnacle of this delightful experience is a gorgeous kitchen and living room area — the perfect space to celebrate life in its finest moment — laughing and regaling each other with beloved stories and memories. The kitchen is a cook’s dream: quartz countertops, a breakfast island with three bar stools, stainless steel appliances, and plenty of room to make those memorable vacation meals that can be shared around an eight-seat dining table. Tall ceilings and picture windows bring the ocean into view and new perspectives into place. Inhabitants of the master bedroom won’t have to stray far to reach a sanctuary that offers a full bathroom and private deck access for quiet conversation. The whole family comes together again on a wide, furnished south-facing sundeck and covered porch offering a gas grill to prepare the day’s fresh catch while admiring stunning views of Buxton beach and the iconic Cape Hatteras Lighthouse. Book now to welcome the sunrise from this perch and experience a getaway that is as BRIGHT AS THE SUN. *Please note that this property has a pool that can be heated for $600. Pool heaters, when pool heat is purchased, are set to 80 degrees, but pool temperature cannot be guaranteed. This property is managed by Surf or Sound Realty. More payment options available after booking. Vacation Rental Protection Plan: This required non-refundable $95 plan covers accidental damage within the home with a coverage limit of $3,000. It does not cover theft or willful misconduct. You must notify Surf or Sound Realty of any damage that occurs during your occupancy or this coverage will be void. Coverage is effective at time of check-in and ends at time of check-out. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. *You will be required to sign an additional lease agreement upon making a booking, which will be sent to your email.
