There are two flights of stairs leading up to the condo. Inside the home, the main level includes a large, open living room with flat screen TV and wood burning fireplace. Adjacent to the living room is a dining room with a table for four and two more seat at the countertop, and the nearby kitchen includes new appliances and countertops, with ample dinnerware, cookware and utensils. Outside the front entry to this home, is a private balcony, with outdoor camp chairs and side tables to provide outdoor living space. Two flights of stairs lead up to this condo. Bed Configuration: Loft Bedroom - Queen Bed with full bath (upper level) 2nd Bedroom - Twin over Full Bunk Bed (main level) The Ferringway shared hot tub and heated swimming pool are located a short walk away, and the pool deck has plenty of room for lounging. Also at the pool area are multiple gas grills and outdoor dining space for fun and enjoyment without having to leave the grounds. Easy access to City Open Space hiking and mountain biking trails behind this property. Hillcrest Golf Club, Durango’s premier public golf course, is a five-minute drive from this condo, as is the main campus of Fort Lewis College. POOL IS OPEN MEMORIAL WEEKEND TO END OF SEPTEMBER; HOT TUB IS OPEN YEAR-ROUND. A five-minute drive reaches Historic downtown Durango and the Durango Train, plus restaurants, shops and entertainment. Driving about 30 minutes to the north takes visitors to Purgatory Resort and the high San Juan Mountains. Mesa Verde National Park, a noted World Heritage Site, is about a 40-minute drive to the West. The Fort Lewis College campus is a 3-minute drive away. Whether visiting Durango for skiing, summer Rocky Mountain adventures, attending a wedding, graduation at Fort Lewis College, riding the Durango Train or visiting Mesa Verde National Park, playing golf, hiking and mountain biking on local trails, this Durango near downtown condominium is a great choice to stay in a spacious, comfortable, and cozy vacation rental home. Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years). Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time of the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, payment in full is required at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any such changes will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes that are made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date, forfeit the entire reservation amount while cancellations made more than thirty (30) days in advance of your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great communication from the management company. The unit was clean and very user friendly. The downstairs bathroom could use some new caulking around the top and some repairs behind toliet and floor to bath. Close to town with a car. Never heard any neighbors or traffic noise. Bunkbeds are great for kids but adult on bottom, heads up!

Condo was perfect for our family of four. Very good location, close to food and shopping. Condo was as described. There is a washing machine and also plenty of kitchen items for cooking. There are two window units downstairs and a larger portable ac upstairs. It was plenty to keep us cool and we came from over 100 temps. Condo was well stocked also. We rode train up to Silverton, one of the days and did Mild to Wild river rafting another, both great. We plan to come back and use the same hosts.

My family and I enjoyed our stay. We especially appreciate the property management, there was a water main break nearby and they brought us a couple gallons of drinking water. Stuff happens that is out of everyone's control and it's nice when management goes the extra mile to do what they can. Our kids also enjoyed swimming in the pool at night. Only negative was the window unit upstairs being noisy, turning on and off at night.

The condo is located about 1 mile from downtown Durango. You could walk, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Although it’s still fairly close, the condo feels “tucked away” from the hustle-bustle of downtown yet only a 1-2 minute drive away. Walmart is easily accessible and so are the highways. The property has a quiet and relaxing vibe. There is (2) flights of stairs to reach the unit, but if you’re in decent shape - it’s no real biggie! The pool and hot tub were a nice addition (especially for our kids). The condo is a little dated but everything was very CLEAN and well equipped. There was some spices, oil, coffee filters, etc provided as well as some dish soap, a new sponge, and some bathroom essentials. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

The place was great. Just as advertised. Only issue is the AC unit in the upstairs bedroom would switch on and off constantly which made it difficult to stay asleep. We turned it off, but would have preferred to have it running

Condo was fine and comfortable but master bedroom is a loft, not an enclosed room; I don't remember for sure what the listing said. The biggest issue was that the internet was so slow that it was completely nonfunctional on all our devices throughout the stay. The property manager gave us instructions to unplug router to reset it but that wasn't the issue. We were connected the whole time but so slow as to not work. We made do but if you have to have internet I would not recommend this property.

The condo was easy to find and get into. Everything was neat, clean and ready for us to make ourselves at home. The beds were comfortable, every amenity you’d need was there, and the living space was just perfect for gathering with our daughter and son-in-law. The pool and hot tub were relaxing too! I’d stay there again and highly recommend!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo was a great home base for our SW Colorado adventures. Our daughter was visiting Fort Lewis and we picked this condo so she could walk back if we were not close by to pick her up at the end of her visit. That worked out perfectly. The condo was perfectly appointed; beds comfortable, lots of spices in the kitchen, etc. We enjoyed our stay and the ability to do some of our own cooking while still being close to town to experience the great restaurants. Since she will be attending FLC next year, I expect we will be staying here often!

Loved our stay here. All that Durango offers within close driving distance. Condo is well-maintained. Kitchen well-stocked. during a heat wave, was nice to have air-conditioning, close to common area pool. Would stay again. Communication with owner/management was easy and responsive.
