Nestled in a picturesque cul-de-sac on the Newport/ Middletown line, and comfortably accommodating 6 guests, you’ll find the Cottage at Restmere, South. Convenient to everything that Newport has to offer, as well as Middletown’s stunning beaches, this location can’t be beat. Features include all brand new top-of-the-line furniture and mattresses, eat in kitchen with granite, plenty of outdoor space, off street parking for 2 cars, and central A/C. The deck creates the perfect space to enjoy your morning coffee, or a cold beverage in the evening after a stroll on Cliff Walk. Beautifully landscaped and central to beaches and shopping. High quality furnishings with a deck and a lovely private backyard. The space: This condo is designed to make you feel at home. Upon entering the South unit, you will be welcomed by a spacious, comfortable living room and tasteful beachy decor. A sofa bed along the East wall allows for a very comfortable movie spot, and then provides 2 separate twin sized beds. The 55” television above the decorative fireplace has full live TV via the YouTube TV app, and allows you to sign into any of your preferred streaming services. The upgraded eat-in kitchen provides seating for 4 and is fully equipped with a Keurig, coffee pods, and all basic cooking needs. Down the hall you’ll find a “Jack and Jill” bathroom that connects to the master bedroom. The bedrooms are alike in size and boast queen beds with Serta mattresses. The back door to the cottage is off of the kitchen and leads to the deck that is complete with brand new, comfortable furniture and is shared with the North cottage next door. Although both of the property's "cottages" are adjoining, they are separated by a foyer, basement stairwell, and a rear hallway to allow for your privacy and quiet enjoyment. *all furnishings are brand new as of July 2021* Location: The cottages at Restmere are located on a cul-de-sac on the Newport/Middletown line that can only be described as serene. This location is perfect for those travelers that are looking to enjoy all that Newport has to offer but appreciate a safe and quiet place to come home to. It is located just minutes from the Newport bridge, the beaches, vineyards, downtown Newport, and the trendy and bustling restaurant scene on Broadway. Also close by are grocery stores (Shaws, Stop & Shop, BJ’s), liquor store, deli, gas station, coffee shops, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, and laundromat. Other things to note: I provide linens, towels, hotel size shampoo and body wash, K cups and tea for the Keurig, basic cooking supplies, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, etc. I ask that you bring your own beach towels. *If availability allows, large groups can book the “North” cottage as well to sleep 12 total with parking for 4 cars.

The place is very new and clean. We are able to check in early. It’s not too big but the place is arranged efficiently and it has everything you need. Everything is a short drive away. I highly recommend it.

We stayed here for 5 nights as we toured Newport and surrounding area. The place was very clean and comfortable and very convent to downtown Newport. The beds were really comfortable and the common living area worked out well for our 17 y.o. daughter. We also really enjoyed use of the back deck. Gale was incredible to work with and the check in/out process could not have been easier. Would stay here again!

The Cottage at Restmere was a lovely place located close to Newport and in a a quite neighborhood. We were able to take short drives to the beach, cliff walk, and shopping areas in Newport. Gale was a great host from helping us check in a bit early to answering questions and responding quickly.

The instructions were perfect ! Easy to get too ! Close Newport center . Quiet neighborhood . Sat on on back porch first night was comfortable and mature tress making it more private. The home itself was nicely decorated and very comfortable . The home was well stocked with everything needed

The cottage was meticulously clean and decorated tastefully. The bedding and living room were comfortable and the sunlight in the living room window brightened the entire place. The kitchen was modern and very user-freindly. So close to downtown Newport and the beach. Can’t wait to come back!

My friend and I stayed at the property for a bachelorette get away. We LOVED this property. The house looked exactly as the photos shown. Spotlessly cleaned! Gale was also incredibly easy to communicate with and accessing the property was no issue. The rental is very close to all of the Newport activities (short uber ride away) and also very close to a Shaws, liquor store, Walgreens, etc. Very convenient for a weekend getaway. The interior and back deck were really lovely. The beds were also incredibly comfortable. even though there are only 2 bedrooms there is plenty of sleeping space. The kitchen is well stocked with bowls/plates/cutlery etc. Highly recommend!

My friends and I stayed here for my bachelorette this past weekend and have nothing but good things to say! As soon as we booked, the communication with Gale was great! She had so many suggestions and provided detailed messages back and forth. The cottage was so adorable and everything was so clean! The yard was perfect and there were more than enough places to sleep with the 6 of us. We had so much fun playing games outside and having tea in the morning on the deck. We loved the shower and that there were phone chargers next to each bedside- such a nice touch. We had an amazing time and already want to go back!

Pleasant stay and a very nice host. Gale did go an extra mile to make our stay more comfortable. The property is very clean and it is less than 15 mins driving distance from most of the newport attractions. I strongly recommend staying here.

This is a duplex ranch in a quiet neighborhood that has been nicely renovated as a pair of rental units. We stayed two nights, met one of the neighbors who was complimentary. It's a drive to town but that was fine for us. Very pleasant stay and Gale was easy to correspond with. Thank you Gale.
