Oh did I mention....Casinos are also a short 12 minute drive! We know you will have an amazing stay in our home. We always do. Access - The house is on a slope with stairs and a dirt path to reach the main door. During the snow months, this path can get snow covered, slippery and difficult. While we have a snow removal service, there could be a delay in clearing during heavy storms. During the stay, we expect the guests to keep the walking path/steps shoveled .

"I just got back from staying at this awesome mountain home in Kings Beach/Tahoe Vista and I had the best time! The neighborhood is super peaceful and there are tons of trails to explore right outside the door. I loved chilling on the big deck, listening to the wind in the trees and watching the chipmunks run around.
The house itself is super comfy and has everything you could need. There’s a level 2 EV charger which was real helpful to charge our electric car, pool table, big hot tub, gas fireplace, and tons of TVs. The kitchen has everything you need to cook up a storm and the internet is fast and I was able to work from the cabin for few hours
Overall, I had a blast staying at this place and would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a fun and relaxing vacation in Tahoe."

Our entire family including our puppies enjoyed the stay. The house was large enough so that each of us could get some space and the outside area was perfect for the summer days so that we truly enjoyed the day out under the trees!

Location was great!! Only 10 mins away from restaurants and near our favorite ski resort Northstar!! We enjoyed playing pool. Okay so this place really needs some attention to details and some updates. The microwave needs attention. In general the kitchen did not feel clean and inviting. Too much clutter in the cabinets (drawers were a bit dirty) We did run out of hot water on the last day. Is the thermostat scheduled to 55 in the mornings degrees?, upon going to bed we would set it to about 70 and every morning we would wake up to a really cold home. In previous reviews they mention the sheets in the beds. We only used two rooms. We stayed in the one that has the doggie stairs. The sheets continued to shift every time you move until the fitted sheet comes off from its side. This is super simple to fix. Better sheets will guarantee a good night sleep which is so important for guests. We left one night early due to this my husband really just wanted to sleep in our comfy bed. We hope the jacuzzi gets fixed, we were only able to use it once (semi) we were only able to open one half because the cover was filled with water and super heavy to lift. The pathway from the driveway to the front door was very narrow and difficult to get thru with luggage. Maybe you can make it a bit wider. Thank goodness we have two boys that helped with our belongings.

Heavy snowfall and unsafe roads delayed our arrival by a full day. When we did arrive on Tuesday 28 Feb, there was approximately 4 feet of snow blocking the driveway and 5 feet of snow covering the steps to the home. We had to pay a neighbor to snowblow the drive in order to park. We shoveled a path to the door but never found the steps which proved to be dangerous. The owner/property manager (not sure what his role was) told me that his snow removal guy only came after a storm. In this case a totally unsatisfactory response in light of a once in a decade two day snow storm. On Wednesday we again had to pay someone to remove snow . Eventually the guy responsible for snow removal showed up and did some touch -up work but never touched a shovel to remove snow from where the steps were supposed to be, nor did he clean around the deck or hottub. Additionally we never had access to the trash container. In light of the fact we paid for a night that we didn't use, my expectation was that when we did arrive on Tuesday 28 Feb, we could at least get into the property. The property once we got access was great and as advertised. Not sure if there was a property manager nearby but we never heard from anyone local so in this instance there was no contingency planning/action provided.

This house was everything you could ask for. The guys had fun playing pool at night and the women had fun in the hot tub at night. So much room we had 4 adults and 2 children and could prob have another family join. The husbands made a snow hill so we were able to sled right outside the porch. So many memories made.

The manager was very responsive and nice. Overall, the house is nice and comfortable. The jacuzzi needed some attention when we arrived (green water) and the bedding isn't particularly comfortable. Also, the futon in the upstairs loft shouldn't actually be used to sleep on (maybe for kids it would be okay). The location is great (quiet neighborhood) and the house mostly has everything you need for a fun ski weekend.

We had a great time at the house in the epic snow storm. Unfortunately our other friends could not attend because 80 was closed on Friday night due to the storm. Only downside of our stay, which is really a complaint to Vrbo’s policy, which didn’t allow cancellations due to weather. Thus, be mindful when booking in the winter that you might experience very heavy snow fall and challenging driving conditions.
Otherwise the host and house were great for our family to stay at! And the neighbors and snow plow company were very helpful during the snow storm.

Overall it was a great experience. The line for Northstar when driving from the property was very short. If you come from the other direction you wait for hours. It has plenty of room and things to do for the kids, area to play, games, pool table etc. the fireplace is nice and warms the house up. For the most part we had everything we needed. A few things that could have been better, these are small things and just would have been nice. There were no paper towels, there were not enough towels for the hot tub (only 2). The sheets on the master bedroom bed are probably from 1990 and were worn out in 1995. They don’t stay on the bed even for a minute. There are extra pillows but no pillow cases anywhere. My husband hated the bed but I was fine. DO NOT bring anyone who may slip easily or who has trouble walking in the winter. We had to shovel the driveway to get the truck in (we have 4x4) and we had to shovel the stairs and walk to the door which was very steep and slippery. The trash cans in the bear box was overflowing so we couldn’t take our trash out. The back bedroom was freezing at night but we had plenty of blankets that we brought from home.

We had a great stay, and the house was a cool spot for our group of friends and our infant. Having a high chair and pool table provided with a hot tub outside and the ability to bring the dog is really awesome, and I would definitely suggest this place to other low-key families and friends. It's a very gathering-friendly space, with plenty of room and a stocked cooking kitchen.
There seems to be a communication gap between the host and the care crew of the house. It needs some TLC to get back to what the advertisement boasts:
There are no hot tub towels or cleaning towels in the house as described. There was one half-used roll of paper towels, so we ended up doing a bit of laundry during our 3-night stay to be able to clean up the kitchen/cooking messes and still have towels for showers and hot tubbing.
The thermostat for the three bedrooms is located in the hallway near the living room that has the fireplace with its own thermostat, so this creates a warm living space in the main room and loft but keeps the bedrooms very cold during winter, and any extra blankets found in the closets where slim in warmth quality and quantity.
The master bedroom sheets don't fit the bed and fall off the moment you get in. A previous review mentioned this, and it had not been remedied for our stay. I brought it up to the host, who never returned my message about it, so I can only hope that someone provided sheets for the guests after us. We keep an air mattress in our van (we camp a lot) and ended up using some extra blankets as a set of sheets and slept on that instead, as it was more comfortable than attempting to sleep on the bare double mattress provided.
The dishwasher was broken, so we hand-washed everything. The host was very responsive and apologetic about that and, in all, kept in great contact about our stay.
The cleaning crew is NOT messing around about check-out time. I’ve never experienced a cleaning crew arriving prior to check- out (at 9:55 AM; showed 10 AM online, but 10:30 on all on-site materials) in any commercial or private rental and we felt rushed out the door which obviously led to forgetting items when packing up a 6-month-old, a dog, friends etc.
I just don't think that the crew taking care of the place in between rentals is paying attention to the details or setting up the house as it's meant to. A little more attention between renters would definitely make this place 5 stars and a definite return for us in the future.

We had a good stay. The cabin provided space for our family of 5 to have fun together. What made this a four star rating was tv issues, no hot-tub towels as advertised, and poor sheet fitting on beds (constantly coming undone).

We loved staying here. Very cozy and comfy. We struggled with the jacuzzi at first but after the quick response from owner we figured it out. We will definitely stay here again as it’s so close to northstar which we loved. Thanks!!

Stayed with 2 couples and a dog. The place has everything you need to relax and enjoy Tahoe. Hot Tub was amazing! Kings Beach is only 5 minute drive, which has beaches, boats, supermarkets, mini golf, casinos, hiking, swimming, etc. Everything you need is super close and convenient. Would rent again!

Great House
We had 5 adults at the house. The neighborhood and location are great. The inside of the house is well maintained and comfortable. Technically, there are beds for 10 people, but that includes futons and a bunk bed. We loved the hot tub!! We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place to stay in north tahoe
We stayed for two nights with extended family (5 of us in total). The house was really well set up, a pool table (!!) and lots of board games to keep ourselves busy when it was raining outside. Kitchen was well equipped to cook a variety of stuff. The whole place was spic and span. The only two minor nitpicks are I couldn't find the short cut to the hiking trail which is close to the house (perhaps a map showing where the hiking trail is would help, as google's map directed us to take a long path to the trail head instead of the short cut) and we had to get shampoos as it wasn't stocked with shampoos.
Overall a really pleasant stay at Kings beach.

Right out the door and your on dirt trails for biking and to walk the dog. A perfectly quaint house for our family of 4. Plenty of dog beaches and parks from Incline to Carnelian Bay and minutes from food and most activities. Also, the spa was a nice touch!

House was very comfortable and stocked well. I was planning a week of skiing but 3rd day in I got ran over by snowboarder and broke my arm😢. Still enjoyed the neighborhood tranquility and being in the mountains. Communication with owner was good and responded above expectations.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin is well kept with lots to do for the family. The kids enjoyed the loft area with their own TV. We all enjoyed playing pool, the hot tub, and the small hill besides the house for sledding. Would definitely stay here again.

Family weekend in Tahod
We enjoyed our stay in the Kingswood Estate. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood close to forest play and the town of Kings Beach. We appreciated being able to bring our dogs with us. The house is comfortable, lots of room to spread out with the great upstairs loft area. We cook our meals and found plenty of kitchen essentials. Thank you for sharing your house with us
