This was a quick trip with the extended family. Everyone had a good time. Important to remember that it is a cabin so space isn’t overwhelmingly abundant. The porches are great but for us the cold rainy weather made them tough to use. The inside was cozy. The kitchen and dinning areas where we gathered were great. Lots of counter space on the island and the two fridges would be perfect for longer stays.

Had a great time at the Owls Nest cabin. Everything was clean and the cabin has everything a family could need. Great outdoor space and even has an EV charger. We would not hesitate to recommend the Owls Nest.

Overall, we had a nice stay at the Owl’s Nest. We visited Pigeon Forge/Dollywood after Christmas, not knowing that is the area’s busiest week of the year (prepare for lots of traffic and lines everywhere). The house was cozy and what you’d expect of a mountain home, but there were a few pain points. First, when we arrived there were cigarette butts littered on the ground as well as a pile of ashes on the back porch. Not the host’s fault, but perhaps the cleaning crew could have done a little better (both inside and out). Second, the property is listed as pet friendly, which in theory it is, but there is very little green space outside for dogs to do their business. And, finally, the house is advertised to accommodate up to 12 guests, but the hot water heater is in no way equipped to handle that number of people showering. We had to stagger shower times in both the mornings and evenings because hot water would run out after just one shower. All in all, our experience was positive and the host was very responsive to messages.

I can't love this cabin enough! Owl's Nest will definitely be our "go to stay" place while in the mountains now. Communication with owner was GREAT! Check in/out couldn't have been easier. Kitchen accommodations were perfect. Everything you need is there. Loved having two refrigerators. The wrap around porch was FANTASTIC. We went with our family BUT this cabin would be PERFECT for a few couples to get away. Each room upstairs had its own private balcony plus an extra sitting area with a fireplace. Location was ON POINT! Just moments away from everything. The cabin was pet friendly so we were able to take our furbaby but it was impeccably clean. No signs of previous pets. Wifi was great. We all had the best time and will definitely be back again! Definitely recommend this cabin.
**the ONLY things I would recommend would be a gate for the bottom of the steps to keep children from going up/down stairs and possible some warmer blankets for cooler weather.
All in all. Owl's Nest was FANTASTIC!! 5/5 Stars!!

Spent some much needed family time for my birthday before heading to FL. Enjoyed the house and scenery! Hot tub didn’t heat up as much as we would have liked but still enjoyed! Loved the idea of the map and pin board.. we made our mark with a red pin. And the journal of everyone’s visit.. the stories was like I knew them. Didn’t get to see any bears.. not that I wanted to but it would have been a cool story to tell! Thank you for great trip, will definitely be back for a longer stay!

This home was perfect for our family of 5 adults and two children. There were plenty supplies for the kitchen and bathroom items were nicely displayed. The house was clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner was great. The property was easy to get to and quick to get to Dollywood. I would highly recommend the “Owl’s Nest” for your next vacation.

Great cabin! Right off the parkway and close to all major attractions! VERY clean with plenty of towels. Jim was highly responsive. Although our stay was great, I know if there would have been anything actually impacting the stay, it would have been taken care of promptly. Stayed in a lot of cabins over the years and this was one of our favorites!

It was good. We were under the impression that the bathrooms would have toilet paper rolls (2 each) and shampoo, conditioner and body wash travel sizes in each but most bathrooms did not

The cabin was beautiful! Everyone in our party agreed the cabin was a hit. The wrap around porch with plenty of available seating made it a daily spot to gather and talk. The location is less than 5 minutes to the main road, yet the cabin feels very secluded. Trips to Gatlinburg took less than a half hour for hiking in the Great Smokey Mountains. We cooked in for multiple meals. The kitchen was well stocked. One item that would be helpful is a stopper for the sink. The bathrooms were well maintained, however, the fan in the downstairs bath did not work. Prior to arrival, I was sent a link to download an app to my phone for the cabin. That was a great feature! As noted in some other reviews I read before booking, backing out of the driveway is best done with a spotter at the end of the driveway. The cabin sits near the base of a windy, mountain road (as do many cabins in this area) and this was done out of caution to watch for vehicles coming down the road. We found traffic overall was light on this road. In summary, this was a wonderful cabin, and our family really enjoyed our time at The Owl's Nest. We would recommend it to others.

My extended family and I had a wonderful time. The location is great, easy to get to Gatlinburg and the national park. The house had everything we needed and we enjoyed the covered porch. We saw wildlife in the area, including a small bear. The owners were very helpful and took care of all of our issues. They even helped us after our stay by retrieving a lost item for us. 5 stars all the way.

My family had a wonderful stay at the Owls Nest this spring. The property is large for a group and is very conveniently located in Pigeon Forge without feeling like you are on the strip. A very nice house that met our needs, the cleaning crew could have paid a little closer attention to detail but this did not dramatically impact our stay. I would highly recommend this property for a large family.

Overall the house was nice and comfortable and had everything we needed. It’s in a great location and had adequate space and different areas for relaxing. If you have a large group and pets, this is a perfect place. The driveway area is tight with a steep drop-off and no turning area. Be careful and be prepared to shuffle vehicles and back out / in.

I have been to pigeon forge quite a few times, but no cabin has come close to this one! It was spacious so no one felt like they were on top of each other, the rooms were nice and each one had its own tv. They aren’t lying when they say the kitchen is STOCKED! More so than any other place I’ve stayed. We absolutely loved the porch area, playing cornhole and grilling out! And the best part, they allowed dogs so that made it even more perfect. Also, you really can’t beat the location! I didn’t realize how close it was to everything!
They were extremely prompt in messaging back when we had questions. Overall 10/10! I would book this place again in a heartbeat!

The location and setup of the cabin was great, the only issues that I have is that there was dog hair through out so it really irritated my allergies which caused me to be very miserable at times, and the shower in the master bedroom clear shower curtain had mold and mildew residue on it and needed to be changed out. Overall our stay was great and relaxing. Thank you!

This cabin accommodated a family of 11 ranging from age 3 to 67. It had everything we needed for a weekend stay and is centrally located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlingburg.

This property was a great place to stay, very close to main attractions. My family loved the many decks with one having a hot tub and another having a fire pit. It also had three bedrooms with king size beds which was great for my family. We would most definitely stay again.

It does need alittle maintenance... we left a note (Master bath tub drips, other upstairs bathroom does not drain well.....etc. But nothing serious. I would assume our suggestions will be addressed as to not cause the owners any additional problems in the future. The only negative is the driveway...you must back out. We didn't have any issues but always had a guide at the end of the driveway looking for on coming cars. Enjoyed our stay and would recommend. Thank you for sharing your home!

This is an excellent property in a GREAT location. At the cabin, you feel like you could be miles from town but are in fact a two-minute drive to the parkway! The setting is quiet and serene with lots of deck space to enjoy the outdoors. Everything was clean and comfortable, we will visit again!

Nice cabin that’s close to everything. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin because some don’t clean very well. My family enjoyed staying here and would stay here again. (Note: if traveling with a toddler bring an extra wide baby gate. We brought a regular one and it wasn’t wide enough)

We had 12 people stay at the cabin, which is probably the max. The cabin is just a block or so off of the strip and was very convenient to the amenities of Pigeon Forge. The property was well maintained and had everything we needed. Ample kitchen set up allowed us to cook efficiently for three of the 4 nights we were there. The deck is awesome and many rooms had private balconies. I will definitely stay here again!
