So close to the Parkway and still so private and quiet.

This is an amazing cabin that seems like it is in the middle of the deep dark woods, but is right next to everything you want to do in Pigeon Forge! We loved that the kitchen had literally everything you could want to cook with. We also saw a small group of synchronous fireflies that liked to hang out near the front driveway! We stayed with 11 people and here is some information that might help others:Most of the beds are VERY high, so poor short grandma had limited selection on which beds she could sleep on. There is one extra wide king downstairs that is low to the ground and the bottom bunk upstairs also worked for her. The driveway was narrow and we had two minivans, so it was a LOT of work to park and turn around. We found it best to have the first person enter and loop around so they were facing the exit on one side (this took one person getting out and directing them so they didn't go off the edge of the driveway). Then, the second car could then park next to them and either back all the way out or also loop around. The driveway and road have steep parts that would actually scrape the bottom of the cars, so we had to turn off the auto-collision warning on the cars or they would stop automatically.Our contact with our host was great and they were always there to answer questions and give valuable information.

Property was set in a beautiful scenic location. The property is as beautiful, if not more, than the images suggest. The property is isolated, allowing for privacy. Yet, within short driving distance to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The hosts were tremendously accommodating. We housed 12 people comfortably. We are already anticipating our next stay. We highly recommend this as a destination/accommodation!!

The actual cabin was perfect!! The host was great, we thought the A/C wasn’t working when we first got there (the HVAC was just worked on and the tech forgot to turn it back on) and the host was extremely prompt in answering and was even going to send out a tech that night until we figured out the issue. The only reason I took a star off was for the parking situation. I asked the host how many cars could fit and they said 4-5 comfortably. Technically the cars fit in the driveway but it was very difficult to navigate and almost impossible to get out of with backing onto a very steep hill. Other than that it was perfect!
