Here on the grounds of The Sanctuary at False Cape, you will have access to a community courtyard offering three swimming pools and gas grills that are available from Memorial Day weekend until Labor Day weekend. One pool has an oceanfront swim-up bar. Additional features include a fitness room with treadmills, plasma TVs, and weights; a community room; and the big stretch of Atlantic Ocean. The fitness center is available year-round! After a long day of fun in the sun, retreat back to this luxurious condo, lounge on the couch, and catch up on one of your favorite shows with the 53-inch TV and DVD player. Need an even more comfortable way to chill out? All three coastal-themed bedrooms are equipped with TVs and DVD players as well. Take an evening to enjoy the lovely kitchen, which is well-equipped with everything you might need to prepare a home-cooked meal. After dinner, you'll likely find yourself on the private balcony, enjoying the views and sipping an evening glass of wine. With the spacious sitting areas and closets, Dolphins and Daiquiris will feel like a home away from home - except this home is just steps from the beach! Things to Know The community pool is open annually from mid-May to mid-September for guest use. Pool dates are weather permitting and at the Condo Association's discretion. The Sanctuary HOA schedules structural upkeep during the off-season, blocking off certain sides of the buildings, making it unsafe for our guests to be on the balcony. The balcony may not be available for guests from October to mid-May. This property is managed by Vacasa Virginia LLC. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

We enjoyed being so close to the beach. Unfortunately, our keys and door keycard were not working well and gave us quite a hard time. The dishwasher leaked and made the tile floor very slick. Mostly a good time.

The rental units are beautiful , spacious , clean and well furnished. Kitchen has every appliance you need for a home away from home. Family friendly , Affordable , comfortable and with a view of the ocean from the balcony ! Will definitely come back again.

We have stayed at Sanctuary several times and love the location and amenities. This was the first time at Dolphins & Daiquiris and it did not disappoint! We had two minor maintenance issues and they were resolved within an hour. The unit was clean and spacious with a great view!

The property was spacious and the wifi was fast. I do suggest providing more than one dishwasher packet and trash bag to guest staying multiple nights. Some of the amenities were not available due to renovations, however this was noted in the description once we made the reservation. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

This is a nice condo and we enjoyed our time here with family. My only disappointment lies in the fact that we were not told that the building was undergoing substantial renovations. While the laborers were really good about not starting to work until 8 am, that can be a bit early when you are experiencing later nights during vacation. Only other thing I might add is that the people being hired to do the cleaning are doing a fairly superficial jobs when it comes to cleaning the floors. I have lived in Florida, so I recognize and have no issue with sand but the floors should be wet mopped between each stay IMHO. Again, the condo is nice but I think VACASA/VRBO should be more forthright about what to expect with major renovations taking place.

We chose this property for the amenities, and asked the owner by emailed if the hot tub was open. We were told, in writing, that it was. When we got there not only was it closed, but we learned that it had not been open for two years.

The condo was very nice. Although, There were non-stop construction and there were no food places to eat near-by. Overall it was a nice place to stay just wish there was less construction going on or it needs to be limited to certain hours of the day.

This condo had plenty of room for us to spread out and was very comfortable. I'm a sucker for a great mattress and this unit didn't disappoint. The complex had a great pool deck and the unit had easy access without having to take elevators from right outside the unit. Easy access to the beach, but I'd recommend leaving the beach toys in the car so you don't have to bring them in the elevator.
