The home has an open floor plan that accommodated our family. It was clean and comfortable in a great location only 10 minutes from beach in a quiet neighborhood. I’d encourage some updates with cookware etc.
as well as some appliances that no longer worked.

The home was in a great location and was beautiful from the outside. However, appliances didn't work. 5 out of 6 TVs didn't have controllers and could not be used. All bar stools were loose and dangerous to sit on. Several doors had doorknobs nearly falling off. Large piles of dog feces littered the back yard to where it made it unbearable to sit on the back patio without smelling it. Several drawers and toilet paper holders were either broken or missing.

Gave this a 3/5 bc there were many excellent things this place offered to us, yet a some important things to us that rated poorly —so averaged to 3/5. Excellent layout for our family needs and gatherings, pretty clean w no bugs at all, plumbing worked great, SUPER EZ departure, great community, really EZ proximity to beach, and a little privacy. On the down side, gold cart is not worth using (painfully slow when fully charged), kitchen stove is difficult, rat on the premises (nest inside grill and I saw it run across the patio), and in need of general maintenance updating.
All that said, we had a wonderful family vacay here.

This house is close to the beach in a nice clean quiet neighborhood. Everything was great, but the AC in the upstairs main part of the house was not working throughout our whole stay which made 3 of the bedrooms 75-85 degrees. The cleaner before us informed vacasa of this before we showed up, and the unit was still not working when we showed up. We called about it and they sent someone out, and when we got home from dinner it still wasn't fixed. We had people sleeping on the couch because of the heat upstairs. Without the AC unit issue, no complaints.

Great location but needs minor improvements. The microwave kept tripping the breaker so maintenance had to bring in a small replacement. The golf cart needs an alignment, it's borderline dangerous on the road. Remote controls to the TV only works at times. Bicycles are old and worn

This home holds a larger family perfectly and the neighborhood is top-notch. We will be seeking future rentals in Destiny by the Sea. The home even had things one needs to enjoy their vacation such as a golf cart and entertainment.

I wish I could leave a good review. The house was beautiful and clean, but if you encounter a problem, don’t count on it being fixed. Within 30 minutes of our arrival we noticed the golf cart wasn’t on site and reached out to customer service. In response, I was sent a text stating that it was sent in to get the brakes changed and they’d inform us when it would be back. I asked if we could be reimbursed for a rental. I was told that was a possibility but that I would definitely receive some kind of reimbursement each day the golf cart wasn’t on property. I explained this was an amenity that we looked for specifically because we have small children and grandparents that we wanted to shuttle to the beach instead of having them walk, but we were okay with waiting for day two. However on day two and every day after that we were given no answers. Every time I called, I was told someone would contact me but was never given any information other than a text saying “we’re waiting on an update from the home care team”. We were not reimbursed, as we were told. Truthfully, it would have been completely fine with me had they remotely tried to communicate and make things right, but the issue was basically ignored for our entire 5 day stay. I’ll also mention that we expected to have basic supplies there but had to immediately go to the store for toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. Lastly, checkout was at 10am, but the cleaning lady showed up at 915am and stood in the yard as we packed up our things. Again, the house was lovely. Just don’t expect any problem solving from the company.

We went down for 4th of July weekend and it was amazing. Check in was easy. House was very clean as we arrived. We had 9 adults and a baby and it couldn’t of been more perfect for all of us. Our daughter played in the huge living room all weekend. All 5 beds were comfy and big. The couch in the living room I wanted to take home with me. Walking distance to the beach which we utilized, plus it comes with a golf cart to shuttle everything and everyone. Couldn’t of had a better time. Weather was overcast but that didn’t slow us down. Will definitely try to rent this spot again.

Great house and the location is perfect!

Great location

We had to wait longer until a cleaning team came to clean and sanitize the inside and all the furniture. Plus the response time was not quick enough when I tried to get some assistance on some issues. Just need to do much better next time when guest arrive to have things ready and cleaned at the property. May have been keeping the property cleaned before but all I know is that they dropped the ball with us on the cleaning. Other than that we still enjoyed the large property and it's amenities after the cleaning.

We loved the house and location. The bed in the master was very comfortable. The deck off master is huge. The golf cart was a big plus. Our dog enjoyed the fenced in back yard. The only thing we didn’t like was the window covering in the living room, because you could see through them at night. We would love to stay there again.

Me and my family stay at this property for our vacation and everything was as it was advertised to us. With the neighborhood being in a gated community, it was even better. Best Anniversary/Birthday
Property was very nicely designed, two of the rooms were set apart from the main house but all united together under one roof. very comfortable. Furniture had a rustic look but nice for the beach area. Only downer, you could she straight through the shades/blinds in the living room very uncomfortable with that. some of the other rooms upstairs were the same but wasn't a huge problem being upstairs. Golf cart was a plus. My sister enjoyed her birthday and I certainly enjoyed my anniversary stay! Thanks

Very relaxing
My family and friends really enjoyed our stay. All amenities were exactly as the description. The walk to the beach was about 5-10 minutes. The only thing we didn't get to do was visit the fitness because of miscommunication about how many people can be inside at one time but other than that the experience was enjoyable.

Destin Getaway
The property was nice in a nice neighborhood. Everything we needed was in this house. The only issue was the front door access. We were locked out a couple times. I called management the first time and after getting in the house, I was told that someone would call me before noon the next day to check the door. No one called and we wound up being locked out of the house again the next day. I had to call management again, in which, they finally sent someone to the property. My only complaint is no one did an initial follow up, as they said they would, which led to us being locked out a second time which was an inconvenience.

This home is beautiful and well laid out. The 2 separate areas are perfect for multi families. Easy walk to the beach, but the golf cart is a lifesaver for carting people and chairs. I would recommend renting a tent and chairs and keep for the time you are staying, It made our stay perfect. Internet is not the best, so make sure if you need for school work you have other options. That is the only semi negative thing I can say. And I used this to my advantage and stayed off the computer for my stay. Very relaxing.
