About this cottage rental
Come stay at this rustic, unique, hand sculpted cob earth house in the heart of the beautiful gold country. You will be surrounded by wilderness and wake up to a seasonal pond and creek and the perfect view of Tuolumne county wildlife. The house is magical inside and out, built with love with material from the property as well as lovely reclaimed windows and floors. Sit outside at night under the Milky Way, watching shooting stars and listening to toads in the pond.
A place to get away for a retreat from our fast paced world. We have very strong wifi, cell coverage can be spotty. No TV. Bring a book, your love, a friend.
Please note the bedroom is upstairs, the bathroom is down an external staircase. There is no oven.

Had an amazing stay with my wife for our 1 years wedding anniversary! Lisa gave great recommendations and information. We loved how secluded the property was with only having to see 1 guest (a local dog visiting named Riggs) The home is beautiful, cozy, and unique. We will be returning to this perfect get away

The home was clean, fun, interesting, and full of wonder. Nowhere else could we have gotten this experience feeling truly set apart from the world but still with a vinal of Hank Williams and record player. That was a bonus. We had deer in the morning, ducks all day, and the real definition of cozy all around.

Yes, kitchen was good, very pretty.We enjoyed this unique place. Waking up to sounds of nature, birds, deer, frogs, crickets at night.Make up of this house is creative & artful. Lisa is a wonderful host. She is quick to respond to inquiries. I highly recommend this beautiful place if you love being with nature.

Beautiful, cozy space, perfect for us and our doggo. Thoughtful extra touches like mattress heaters and a basket of dog toys were lovely We wished we could have stayed longer!
