About this cabin rental
On 1.2 acres, bordering Santa Fe National Forest, Superb mountain retreat, 20 minutes from the Santa Fe Plaza. Exceptional cabin perched on a hillside in glorious Pacheco Canyon. Imbued with nostalgic vintage finishes, filled with hand hewn and hand forged details, the atmosphere is enchanting. Main cabin graced with soaring ceilings and wood-burning stove and quaint kitchen. Upstairs find a cozy loft/ library and second bedroom suite. Add a seasonal stream, majestic canyon views, and access to the wilderness, The Storybook Cabin will not disappoint for those that love a rustic feel, and a peaceful haven to relax and enjoy nature. Perfect for winter sports to include cross-country skiing, other times of the year, trails for hiking and mountain biking right outside your door. 4-wheel drive is a must for the winter months. Please note that we do have exterior security cameras pointed at the driveway for safety reasons.

I wish there were more words, other than tranquil, peaceful, beautiful, magical … to describe the serenity of this eclectic, comfortable, and artistic cabin in the woods. It is the perfect getaway. The perfect place to relax and regroup. The perfect place to connect with mother nature in all her magnificent beauty. It was a privilege and a dream come true to stay there. We loved the Storybook Cabin. It was much more than we expected. It was clean, very cozy, and well stocked. We loved the remoteness of the cabin. We did an amazing 8 mile hike with our dogs. The ancient ponderosa pines were breathtaking. And lots of hummingbirds!Brian was a great help in planning our outings. Doug had a great mountain bike ride while I read in a chair out under the trees. It was a wonderful vacation all around. Thank you !!!

Fantastic cabin. Private and remote. A great place to stay. Plenty of outdoor seating for a morning cup of coffee or an evening drink. If it's too cold outside, the inside of the cabin is warm and inviting with unique and comfortable furnishings. If you want a place to stay away from the city and all the people, we definitely recommend this cabin.

My son and I went to this property to celebrate his 13th birthday and do some “man stuff”The area was perfect! Plenty of seclusion and beauty. We got to shoot his air rifle, and at night time the TV was perfect for watching a few movies together.The property was well appointed and fashionably decorated. Everything worked as advertised.The scenery in the area was beautiful, even in an off-season when we went. You definitely need to go outside at night and check out the stars.
