About this house rental
At Horsepower Hangout of Kentucky, you will have loads of fun and experience southern hospitality at it's finest, in a relaxing, peaceful, spacious, safe, family-friendly location. The home sits on 1.3 acres with 30 mature trees. It's a great place to lounge by the fire pit, kick back in a hammock, and unwind on the front-porch swings. Close to local attractions like The National Corvette Museum (12 miles away), Mammoth Cave National Park (38 miles away), and Beech Bend Raceway (17 miles away)! The two-car garage is a safe-haven for your hot rods and motorcycles. Enjoy a full kitchen and a recreation room for hours of entertainment! Great for traveling families, couples, and groups.
Throughout the home and property, you will experience a horse theme upstairs and a Corvette/Hot Rod theme downstairs. We chose our name and logo by combining our state’s equine industry (horseshoe) with the modern-day use of the term “horsepower” used by car and motorcycle enthusiasts (checkered flags).
*FYI, the home has steps for entry and exit; therefore, it is not wheelchair accessible. We apologize if this is a hindrance to your ability to book this location.
*FYI, depending on the size of guests who stay, and their preferred sleeping arrangements, if the maximum number of occupants (7) are residing in the home, one or two guests may need to sleep on either the living room couch or a queen-size air mattress. Currently, we have 3 private bedrooms with:
1 Full-sized bed
1 Queen-sized bed
1 King-sized bed
…and one living room with:
Couch
1 Queen-sized air mattress
1 comfortable twin rollaway bed

We all enjoyed our stay at Horsepower. Very clean safe and quiet environment. Plenty of space for the cars great accommodations for our party of four. Our host communicated timely and well. We will book again.

This is a spectacular venue, entirely worth the cost. The owner is extremely detail-oriented and communicative. She provided personal touches throughout the house that made it the perfect home away from home for the weekend. It had anything we needed and more. It’s rare to get a fully appointed home like this, but it made our stay so enjoyable and turn key. From the K- Cups & sandwich bags to the slippers and bottled water, we truly had everything we needed. The first night we had a fire at their charming fire pit with the wood they provided. The second night we enjoyed the one mile drive to the wedding venue, Cason’s Cove. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was quite possibly the best VRBO experience yet!

Absolutely amazing stay - activities for all 4 of my kids (ranging from 4-15). Very clean, great attention to detail. Loved the quiet neighborhood and local recommendations. Well stocked kitchen. Nothing bad at all to say - we've stayed in many vacation rentals and this was by far the nicest one. Had a great time!!

We loved this house and property. The owner was amazing and quick to respond to any questions we had. The house has everything you need, well organized and little extra touches. The most comfortable I’ve felt in a VRBO. The neighborhood is so peaceful.
