Enter this top-floor unit with high vaulted ceilings via the kitchen and great room. The design is breathtaking and inspires a peaceful vibe. The kitchen is a chef's delight, made for foodies. It's finished with black granite countertops, top-of-the-line appliances and cookware. Plus small touches like a 9-quart slow cooker, a full bar set up, and a cabinet full of dry goods and spices. Yet Truckee is a 15-minute drive and Lake Tahoe 10. You avoid the parking reservation system now enforced at the resort and the hour-long traffic backups during the holidays from Truckee. The gondola is 200 steps from the entry to the condo. You'll check in at the East West Hospitality front desk at the upper roundabout, where you'll get hotel-style key cards and one underground parking pass. Overflow parking is available on a first come, first served basis, and is easy to come by most of the time. A variety of amenities are located just steps away-including restaurants and bars, retail shops, a movie theater, gym, hot tubs, a steam room and year-round heated pool, and an ice-skating rink.
