Walk to downtown shopping, liquor store and our famous Betty"s Country Store (IGA) for groceries. Walk to our many restaurants including Paul's Steak House (on the River) where you can dance the night away at Paul's Margarita Deck. Enjoy the indoor Fun Factory with skating rink, go-carts, laser tag, bouncy house & arcade on sunny and rainy days. This place is great! Walking distance to everything! We were able to walk to town to shop, eat, and enjoy some fun. The only place we drove to was Anna Ruby Falls but even that was just a ~15minute drive. Would definitely return! Didn’t have much communication with the owner but that was not due to them, we just had everything we needed. Very clean and well kept house.

Very clean property. Very well decorated and comfortable. Could have used trash cans in bedroom as well as replacement of lightbulbs in bathroom. As a suggestion, a full length mirror would be a great addition.

The cottage was cute and clean. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends. The location was perfect; we parked our car and walked all around town. Communication with the owner was great. I would definitely rent again!

This what a great place to stay at, perfect location and our pup loved it as well. We were lucky that the property owner relative stayed in the building next to us for a few days, he was able to recommend place to visiting which was really worth visiting. Everything is posititive and the owner and location, we would stay at this place again.

The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. We liked that it was close to everything and we were able to easily stop back at the cottage during the day to check on and feed our dog. The main bedroom is tight, not much room to walk around or put your luggage. We used the second bedroom for our luggage and to get dressed. Overall, would recommend for 2 adults with 1-2 small children.

I would return again and again! The location was perfect, one street back from Main Street with access to sidewalks and a nice field to walk our pup. Cindy was always available for our questions and it's obviously she really cares for her property and 'clients'. The bungalow is in a nice safe neighborhood and everyone we met was helpful and friendly. Sitting on the porch just greeting people as they walked by! I will say on the weekends, about every 10-15 minutes a bus from Cool River Tubing goes by that can get loud, but you don't hear it from inside the house; and they didn't go down the street during the weekdays. The bungalow was super clean and had plenty of kitchen ware (that we didn't use!), soap and body wash in the shower, laundry detergent etc. We honestly brought to much with us. The couch and chair were extremely comfy, as were both bedrooms. Sleeping on the twin trundle wasn't bad, but it will move and squeak a little. I like soft mattresses so it worked out great for me. Everything is really within walking distance. Plenty of restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed the location for traveling to numerous nearby waterfalls and hikes (within a 30 minute car ride). The only thing I will say is the porch furniture could use a few cushions, but that may be because we are a little older! The semi-adjoining bungalow did have seat cushions in their rockers. We will definitely be back!!

First impression was how clean it was when we arrived. Located on a quiet street, 2 blocks from downtown and across street from river. Great front porch with rocking chairs. Super easy check in. Fast Wi-Fi large TV in living room. Master bedroom has very comfortable bed. 2nd bedroom beds very uncomfortable but would be fine for smaller children.

Wonderful walking distance to most of Helen attractions. Those with young children may prefer other end of town for activities. Loved the porch and rockers. Really enjoyed first tubing of the river and the hike to Anna Ruby falls was awesome! Great location for eateries! House was immaculate and really appreciated that fact.

The Georgia hideaway is an absolute gem! It’s within walking distance of town and is a few steps from the river. Nights are quiet and you can still hear the river flowing. The only downside is if your neighbor smokes and you don’t, you can’t sit outside at the same time.

We loved the place! Great location and easy walk to downtown! Bonus being there was a liquor store and little grocery store right around the corner! The front porch was so peaceful to sit on and the place was perfect space wise for the 2 of us and our dog! We will definitely be back!

The bungalow was a perfect size for my family and within walking distance of downtown Helen. Betty’s store was less than a block away, so convenient. We had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. We lucked up and we’re staying the weekend of the balloon race and we’re able to see over 20 hot air balloons up close and personal. We also toured the Hadman farm estate, which I highly recommend.

We love staying here for spring break! Best part is the walk to some of favorite spots in Helen - the river for fishing, Hofer’s Bakery & Betty’s for snacks. It’s a short drive to our favorite restaurants - Nacoochee Tavern & Bigg Daddy’s.

This cozy cabin was absolutely amazing! Perfect location to walk to Betty’s country store and all of the other fun activities, restaurants and shopping downtown Helen has to offer along with the Unicoi hiking trail nearby too! The home had everything we needed and was decorated adorably. Will definitely be back and highly recommend too! Thanks so much Cindy for all of your help retrieving items we left behind after our stay - you guys were the best!
