Great little house! Great location right next to the beach! And we loved the fenced yard for the dog. The backyard was fantastic but unfortunately the hot tub was not available for use. Would have been nice to sit in and watch the sunset. Just an FYI, there were ants in the bathroom. Overall well worth the he price, and wonderful location! Would stay here again

We had such a great stay and we didn't want to leave! We loved the cottage. The pictures don't do it justice. It's lovely! They yard is fantastic! Spacious, great deck to watch the ocean and surfers and sea birds. The location couldn't be better- it's right next to the path leading down to the beach. We can't wait to stay again!

It’s clear this house isn’t just a vacation rental but is much loved and well cared for. Pictures don’t really capture the warmth and comfort we feel when staying here. It’s reached the point that we arrange our Dillon Beach plans so we can stay at this house. It has everything we need and is consistently clean. Every visit we notice upgrades, sometimes small, thoughtful touches, sometimes major improvements, like the yard! It’s so well done! We had a lot of fun discovering the little treasures tucked in the plant beds. The owner has done a fantastic job of bringing the warmth and comfort we feel inside the house to this new outdoor space. It’s hard for us to imagine a trip to Dillon Beach that doesn’t include staying at this much loved home.

This is a charming place with lots of character in a great location for Dillon Beach. Master bed is comfy, kitchen is well stocked and the back yard/patio/hot tub area is wonderful. Has ocean views and loved hearing the ocean from the house. A few suggestions: take warm bedroom slippers as owners don't want shoes on the carpets and it's cold some ((lots?) of the time. Bring in food & plan to cook. Restaurant options and groceries are limited. Bring beach towels. Pack so you can access stuff out of your baggage. Closet space is good, there is only one drawer available to use.

First time staying at Cats Meow. The home was clean, the kitchen was well equipped, the view was great, and the place very comfortable. Ideal location as it was a short walk to the beach. Our guests slept in the (2) Twin
bedroom and they said it was comfy and we can say the same about the king bed. We did not use the hot tub, but the fire pit was great! I would recommend this home.

House is nice but older. Bathroom sink needs to upgraded and one living room window needs a curtain or blind. They have a nice tv but in the afternoon when the sun hit the house you can't see it. Everything else was fine. The biggest problem is getting a hold of the manager. Two different names on listing and I have no response yet to a problem with the hot tub. I sent an email 3 days ago before we left per the instructions. The lid on the hot tub is so old and petrified that it weighs probably a 100 pounds. So payed for it and could not use it. We are seniors and can't lift that much.

I've stayed here before the the addition of the updated backyard in the old existing empty lot. The view is beautiful and the outdoor area is perfect for a still day. Perfect location for a walk to the beach or soft serve at the local market.

We lost our cabin the Caldor fries so the cozy cabin feel and look of the inside just made us all feel comfortable (and a bit sad) and like we were back at our own cabin. The property is very nice and located in a great spot neighborhood. The kids loved the hot tub and sitting on the front porch out of the wind.

This property is a fantastic Bodega Bay rental with quick, short access to the beach with beautiful views inside the house and from the back porch comfy rocking chairs. Wonderful Kitchen, made a couple great meals. The property managers respond quickly and they’re very accommodating.! Hope to stay here again!

We needed a place near an extended family owned house and this one happens to be right behind that one so it was nice to be CLOSE to the family even though we had to sleep in a different location. We did not use much of the house except for storing our belongings, sleeping and an occasional 'oasis' away from some of the crowd! :)

The beds were very good, the appliances, etc were all quite good. The only real problem was that there’s no place to put anything from your suitcases in either bedroom. There was adequate space in the bathroom. The kitchen is well appointed. There were quite a few spices tho there was no oil.

This beach house built in 1920 was so cozy and welcoming. An outstanding kitchen with excellent appliances, cookware, dishes and utensils. We enjoyed every minute of our short stay. The hot tub is an added benefit. So relaxing to sit in the tub and have the fog kiss your face. Beautiful! We will go back.

The home itself was absolutely everything I adore about Dillon Beach! The interior was beautifully updated while retaining its original charm. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. We enjoy preparing our own meals so this was a huge plus for us.
There was an abundance of cool books and we loved reading about the natural history of the area and history of the house! Gorgeous backyard with views. I honestly loved every single thing about this property. We will 100% be returning!!

The Cats Meow is an adorable, comfortable cottage so close to the beach that you can fall asleep listening to the waves crash.
The kitchen was perfectly appointed with everything we needed for prep and cooking, the beds were SO comfortable, and the backyard was great for watching the sunset. My dog wore herself out walking on the beach while we were there.
We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Dillon Beach!

We simply love this cabin and have stayed a few times in this location. We love the fenced in yard and it is very close to the beach. The kitchen is fully stocked, warm fireplace and you can see the beach from the living room. We also appreciate it is reasonably priced for the area. This is our go to vacation spot!

We had a good time at this cottage. Although small, it doesn't feel that way because of the layout. Very cozy. There is a path to the beach but I wouldn't recommend it. Getting down to the beach was not easy via this path. It's better to walk down to the parking lot entrance to access the beach. The only negative was a neighbor a few doors down the street who was hovering; ordering my husband and brother to "make sure you moved the garbage cans!" When we accidently backed over one of the orange cones they have outside to guide cars around a tight corner used to access the cottage, this person had something to say about it. Not nice. Aside from this we enjoyed our stay and will visit again but will try a different rental.

We set off on a long weekend just the two of us for a quiet, peaceful and romantic weekend. That is just what we got and so much more. I fell in love with the area and the home. It is a two minute walk to the beach through beautiful cypress trees. Oven views from the master bedroom and living area. The hot tub and large outdoor private yard was all just icing on the cake. We never spoke with the manager so I wasn’t sure how to review that. But we never had the need to. Thank you so much to Linda for sharing your home with us. We hope to come back many times.

Enjoyed walking to the beach and to the General Store that is well stocked. Beautiful ocean views from windows and enjoyed sitting on porch for the sunsets. Beds were very comfortable and kitchen well stocked to enjoy a meal in rather then going out. Would definitely return to the Cats Meow!
