This absolutely dreamy lakefront/view property on picturesque Big Springs Road sleeps up to15 guests. Take in the lake and cove views from the deck and beach, or take a sunset cruise on beautiful Lake Almanor. This home is recently remodeled and redesigned. It is bursting with room for everyone. It includes a wet bar, a large deck with BBQ grill, dock, mooring ball, and lots of outdoor space. Two paddle boards, kayaks and other water toys are also included. This property has everything you need to enjoy Lake Almanor in luxury, comfort and style. This is one of two homes that sit on this property; an upper home and a lower home. The upper home is the only one listed on VRBO. The upper home sits at the top portion of this lakefront lot, and the other at the lower part of the lot. You are at lakes edge and on the beach in seconds after a short walk down the marked trail.

Great location for anglers and families. Super easy access to lake and a great outdoor gas fire pit on the deck to share fishing stories.

We had a wonderful rainy Labor Day weekend. We had 13 people. 10 adults two teenager and and 1 11 year old. Kids loved the vintage video game! It was raining and super chilly but we enjoyed the easy lake access! We hope to come back next summer. We cooked a ton. Kitchen was small but had most things we needed. If you are a serious cook bring some basics! House was tight because we were all inside but when the rain stopped and we were able to get outside it was perfect!

We had a wonderful family reunion at this cabin. There was some noise and dust from construction on the first day only, but the owner resolved them immediately and the rest of the week was perfect. The lake access was good. We especially enjoyed the two kayaks and two paddle boards that were included!

This house was perfect for our family of 4 adults and 2 children. Access to the lake was very good (kind of a difficult walk down to the water, but it looks like the owners are planning to put in a better walkway), and the availability of 2 kayaks and a pedal boat and a big floaty in the cove was great. It was nice to have the sandy beach and chairs down by the water. Restaurants, groceries, and a marina with boat rentals was just minutes away. We also biked on the nearby Lake Almanor Recreation Trail, which was delightful. We even discovered that a hospital with an ER was available just minutes away in Chester! The only downside was that there is not much of a lake view from the house itself, but the cove with sandy beach made up for it. The house was beautifully furnished and decorated. The kids loved the game table and bunk bed room. A wonderful time was had by all!

A few minor things but told the owner about it….wasn’t aware of the construction going on next door! Dusty and noisy a couple days! Go on vacation for peace and quiet but bobcat etc started working at 6:30 am! We really enjoyed being with our family from Texas to Napa to Redding to Salem….. needed 2 places … we would have liked being together but….26 is a big party!

We love the slower pace and natural beauty of Lake Almanor and our stay in this neighborly cove did not disappoint. The owners were welcoming, responsive, and generous which made us feel more than comfortable sharing a lot, dock and lake access with them. Plenty of space for 2 families of 5 with room to spare. We enjoyed great meals from the local restaurants as well. We will be back!

Perfect location. Beachfront property, close to gas, store, golf course and restaurants The basement game room was perfect for the kids. Full bathrooms on all three floors was very nice for family. No issues with the home at all, just had to relax and have fun.

Large clean accommodating home for a big family. Comfortable beds and 3 full bathrooms; one on each level. The trek to the cove was a little steep. Great communication with the owner. Our family had a wonderful time making memories at Almanor during our stay!

The Lake House was perfect for oir big family. The location was perfect. Just a quick walk onto a sandy beach with water toys and a great dock. John was so accomodating and answered my questions with a quick reply. A welcome baskey was waiting for us with wine and lots of goodies which was so very nice. It was our first time at Lake Almanor and we fell in love with it. Will definitely be returning. Thank you John and Susan for a great time..Carolyn & Steve

The house was well stocked, well decorated, and comfortably accommodated our large group. The property was very close to the beach and we had use of a private sandy beach during our stay. We had a wonderful time and would consider renting this property again.

We had a wonderful stay! Really cozy and inviting. This house is great for multiple families to share as each level has it's own bedroom and bathroom. Great location in a beautiful cove. The owners have a house on the same lot, so they are close by to help if anything comes up.

Cute and cozy! Great for a weekend with the family. Our visit was a cold weekend in November with snow! It would be great in the summer with opportunities to enjoy the water and the beach and the deck. The spiral staircase has a safety gate at the top which was much appreciated! We were a party of 8 adults and 5 children. Comfortable for the cold weekend. Kids enjoyed the downstairs bunk room. Thanks again for sharing your property and was also nice to meet you!

We stayed 3 nights at this beautiful lake home. It was decorated nicely, had lots of extra pillows and bedding, the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked for all of our cooking needs. They even had a first aid kit that we ended up needing and were thankful to have access to. The host, John, gave us a wonderful wine basket welcoming gift which was enjoyed by all of us! John was excellent with communicating with us and the check in process was a breeze. We would love to come back and go fishing or kayaking someday. We just had no spare time on this trip. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This property was perfect for my family! We have 6 kids total and the basement area was perfect for them to play and sleep. John and Susan are very kind and generous. They left us a beautiful gift basket and were always willing to help when needed. All beds are extremely comfortable which is hard to find with Rentals. House was fully stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this property for a family getaway to the lake.

This place was excellent. John and Susan are awesome and made sure we had all we needed. The house has tons of nice touches, lots of dishes and silverware, plenty of towels & sheets for the many beds a great deck and an excellent barbecue. Having access to the Kayaks and paddle boards was very nice. We will definitely be back!!

Hamilton Branch stay
This cabin was amazing, perfect location, with view of the lake, very clean cabin. Lots of amenities, great layout with great beds, all linens provided, top of the line furniture. Big outdoor decking to enjoy including a fun fire pit, great BBQ, with lots of outdoor furniture and umbrellas for shade. Patio boat moored in the cove just below the cabin available to rent at an amazing price. Paddle boards, kayaks also free to use. What more could you ask for. We'll be going back next summer to stay in this beautiful cabin.

Awesome house and location!
We absolutely loved our stay here. The house is amazing and so many beds! We were very comfortable. The owners have provided pretty ouch everything you would need to be comfortable. They even have a super awesome espresso maker! That was a hit! Fun toys for the water as well as a great deck with outdoor seating. Bbq was amazing. We brought our flat grill as well and cooked just about everything outside on the wrap around deck. The decor was super cute and the tv was really easy to use. The owners left a really nice basket with wine and snacks. John was always available if we had any questions. Super nice! Parking was also super easy. Plenty of room! We didn’t want to leave. It was so great! We can’t wait to come back!

Lake House at Lake Almanor
John and Susan were wonderful hosts. They answered all our questions and made us feel welcome. We were a multi -generational family and we all had a fun time at the lake. We rented the pontoon boat which is available and had a great time cruising the lake. The house is excellent shape and well maintained.

Great Weekend!
Plenty of room to either be together or have our own space. The Teenage girls loved the downstairs bunk area. We're big on cooking, the kitchen just a bit small for all of us (lol), but everything we needed was there. (Generally speaking, sometimes there is no cabinet room for our groceries in vacation rentals - so we used alot of counter space in that respect). Clean, comfortable, the owner is very responsive, parking a bit quirky but easily figured out (again, with owners quick response), all and all beautiful weekend in a beautiful house. Definitely on my list of do-overs.
