"The Coconut Cottage" is a little salty Floridian chic treasure in Vilano Beach only 3 miles from historic downtown. 2 bedroom/ 2 bath. Take a short walk along dune trail through windswept Florida oaks to pristine Vilano beach. This home features 2 queen bedrooms, 2 full walk in shower bathrooms, a spacious kitchen and family room. Step outside to a fully fenced private courtyard with beautiful oak tree backdrop, with a bubbling fountain, grill, table with umbrella and patio chairs. Private driveway accommodates up to 3 vehicles. Intracoastal waterway dock, boat ramp and restaurant only 2 streets away. Coconut Cottage is designed to accommodate parties of 6 or less; recommended for 1-2 couples with up to 2 children, families and honeymooners. Master bedroom has queen adjustable Serta mattress bed with ensuite bathroom featuring double vanity and walk in shower. The second bedroom has adjacent bathroom with single vanity and shower. Living room, dining room and kitchen are spacious enough to gather together. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cook ware & utensils, pots/pans, appliances, paper goods and basic spices etc. The dining room will accommodate up to 6 guests seated. All rooms have Smart flat screen TVs. In unit washer & dryer. Located in the North Beach area of Vilano Beach Saint Augustine, the neighborhood is residential and quiet, and within walking distance to the beach & local waterfront restaurants. Awaiting nearby as less than a 2 minute walk are spectacular sandy shores are uncrowded and perfect for lounging, hunting seashells & shark's teeth as well as fishing and surfing. 2 Miles to Publix supermarket, 2.5 miles to water taxi and tours at Vilano Pier, 3 miles to famous hammock and estuaries of Guana River State Park, 4 miles to historic downtown St. Augustine, 10 miles to World Golf Village. There are ENDLESS ways to revel in coastal North Florida at its best. We look forward to having you! Things to know: Walk to beach is 1-2 minutes, you do have to cross A1A (so please be careful crossing when traveling with small children) approx. Golf cart rentals available for safer travel in neighborhood and across A1A. There are 2 restaurants withing walking distance to home and several more within a short drive as well as Publix Supermarket (2 miles), boat taxi and water craft rentals. Historic Downtown St. Augustine and trolley train stain is only 3.5 miles. Our area also offers local surfing, fishing and golfing. Just over the Vilano bridge and left on San Marco is The Old Jail where you can board the Trolley Train for a tour of St. Augustine. With 23 stops, you can usually make a full day of it. There are several local Uber/Lyft drivers that are familiar with our home and are a great easy way to get around town. Guests will have entire home to themselves. This home is not for large gatherings or parties. The exterior property is monitored by cameras. For privacy there are NO cameras inside the home or backyard This home is nonsmoking/vaping in home and backyard. Very clean with lots of room for the two of us. Loved the hot tub. Quick drive to St. Augustine but so glad to return to a quiet neighborhood at night.

I knew from the listing that it was updated and well decorated. However, I was happy to find a ton of little things that made the visit easier when traveling with young kids: beach towels, toys, chairs, toiletries and basic spices. Bonus for the outdoor shower for us beach lovers. Best VRBO beach house yet!

Modern comfortable cottage in quiet neighborhood short walk thru lush dunes to uncrowded beaches and sunsets over Tolamato River. Walking distance to two good restaurants.

Quaint cottage, very nicely furnished for the beach feel, would be great for a couple honeymooning at the beach or a great place for an anniversary stay! The two full baths were wonderful, no waiting on the wife!! The one issue was the privacy or lack there of in the hot tub area, all in all a great little house only a 2 minute walk from the beach, would highly recommend this as a vacation destination

Great home with two large bedrooms, updated bathrooms and kitchen. We really enjoyed the location on a quiet street. Convenient to St Augustine, the beaches, wonderful restaurants. We would definitely use again and highly recommend! Thanks for a great experience.

Coconut Cottage was just the right amount of space for our family of 5. There were plenty of towels and extra linens provided. Decor was modern and beachy. It was a wonderful escape and a short drive across the bridge into St.Augustine. We had a wonderful time.

This was the perfect place - two friends in town for another friend’s wedding. Loved the quiet neighborhood and proximity to the beach as well as the easy ride into downtown. Would definitely stay here again!

Cute home walking distance to beach!

Decided to make a quick trip here with my four year old son last minute, this was his first time in St Augustine and first time in a hot tub ever! The weather had it's moments where we couldn't enjoy the hot tub for very long but we both really enjoyed it! As a single mom, safety was super important and I felt very safe here with him by myself. We can't wait to come back, we were both sad to leave! Thank you for providing such a cute place!!

Coconut Cottage was a very nice place to stay. Beach was right across the street and not crowded. Restaurants close, it was nice to drive the golf cart to dinner. The place was updated and clean with the bonus of a hot tub. Definitely recommend.

Great Spot home is very Comfy . Short walk to beach and several local restaurants . Located in a quiet Neighborhood perfect for families . North Vilano iS nice it is not a commercial area . Would definitely stay again and Recommend . The Hosts are lovely they do a nice job
