About this cabin rental
Situated in Leesville, this charming cabin for $346 per night is a great option for your next trip. Dreher Dreams log cabin , is a newer constructed log cabin with both lake and equestrian decor. It is located right next to Dreher Island State Park. Enjoy a wonderful variety of wildlife including bald eagles, herons, egrets, songbirds, deer, ducks and geese. Fishing is amazing right off the dock! (See pics) and a boat ramp is inside the Park just minutes away with a 5 minute boat ride back to the dock. Cabin is easily accessable for a senior citizen with limited mobility through the back porch off the driveway. ( see pic #7 right rear of house by screened porch).With wide water views and both sunrise and sunset views, my wife Teresa and I (rather than property managers unfamiliar with a property) want to ensure your vacation makes everlasting memories!

We planned this trip back in 2020 when our daughter started at UofSC. We wanted to stay on Lake Murray and go to the Clemson game..this was probably the best location to do Thanksgiving and attend the Rivalry game! We fished, ate, made some “campfires” and kayaked, SUP’d. It was wonderful

These pictures don't even do it justice! It was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful right when we got there. The kids loved fishing off the dock and throwing rocks in the water from the beachy area. The inside was very clean and beds were cozy. We enjoyed the playground and hiking at the state park 2 minutes away. We'd stay here again!

Perfect is the word. Peaceful quiet and Clean. The Dreher cabin was a home away from home and allowed us to decompress and enjoy the tranquility of Lake Murray with stunning views. We will be back soon. Thank you

Perfect location to boat ramp. Easy in and out with fuel at dock. Private swimming area with peaceful shoreline.
Loved jumping off the dock, fishing, paddle boarding and canoeing. Minutes from the cute downtown Chapin and minutes from boating in or driving to Buffalo Creek Grill. Quiet cove for relaxing and watching your kids enjoy the outdoors. Theres something for everyone here. We will certainty br back!!!

The cabin is beautifully decorated!!! All you need is food. The kitchen is very stocked! Didn't even need to bring foil or storage bags. The bathrooms had plenty of towels. Great place for family and friends to enjoy the Lake!!! The hosts are ver responsive.

This is one of the nicest rentals we've stayed in. The setting and home are beautiful and it feels like staying in someone's "home" as opposed to a typical vacation rental. Although there are other homes nearby, we had total privacy to enjoy the screened porch, dock and lake. We fished, swam and cooked out, loving every minute. I highly recommend this rental, especially good for families with young children. Our 7 year old granddaughter was able to work on her swimming every day. The wildlife, especially birds, are abundant and we spotted several species we hadn't seen before. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful home! You can kayak to Dreher Island State Park from the dock! The fire pit was perfect for family s’mores! Our grand girls loved swimming in Lake Murray. The house was very clean and well stocked! Nice “U” shaped driveway for our boat. Easy docking at Dreher Island State Park. Wonderful views of the lake from the house. We were sad to leave!

We came with our family of 4 (2 kids) for a week summer vacation. I can’t speak highly enough about the cleanliness of this cabin and how brand new everything looks. It felt like we were the first to stay there. The cabin is perfectly tucked away on a very quiet part of the lake and extremely quiet. It had everything we needed including paddle boards, canoes, fire pit, clean bbq. Only thing we had to purchase was fishing equipment which we left for the next renters. The cabin is built solid- we had a bad storm one night and you wouldn’t know unless you opened a door- you can’t hear anything while inside which is so nice. Our family is from California, so we got a kick out of all the deer, frogs and turtles. The fact that our 7 and 13 year old didn’t play any video games for a week speaks for itself.
It’s the perfect family cabin to get away from the city. Thanks again for having our family and giving us many memories.

The house was amazing, we were blown away by how clean the property was and how well appointed it was from the linens to the fully stocked kitchen cabinets. We brought our boat and the dock had electric hook up so I could plug in my onboard charger and we enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards. A wonderful vacation at a wonderful home, can't wait to book it again.

This is a beautiful home and great location. As a custom home builder at Holden Beach NC, I could really appreciate the detail and craftsmanship that was put into this home. Host were great and check in with me after check-in to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Will definitely be back!

A very roomy and comfortable cabin. Extremely clean , awesome kitchen and beautiful view of the lake. We took walks in Dreher Island State Park and shopped and had lunch at Little Mountain Cafe. I can’t wait to come back in the Spring and Summer

We enjoyed the tranquility of the location as well as the cozy and comfortable amazing cabin. We used the outdoor firepit nightly, grilled dinners on the gas grill, and watched sunrises and sunsets. The views of the lake from inside and outside the cabin are FABULOUS! We cook most of our meals, so we appreciated the variety and amount of cookware. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of clean linens. There are lots of lake “toys” available to use and we got the chance to use our fishing poles right from the private dock. This cabin is located close enough to Dreher Island State Park that you can walk right over which gave us the chance to hike the trails and explore the shore line inside the park. Kudos for providing a great movie collection! If peace and quiet at the lake are what you hope to experience, we highly recommend this place. The check-in process was easy and the hosts responded immediately to requests. We are planning on returning soon.

Excellent rental property, very clean and well appointed with essentials. Listing is as described and more! House is so comfortable, slept like a baby! Great for sun rise and set, perfect location near park island launch for your boat, well maintained dock and outdoor property. Bring binoculars for the many bird species and turtles you will want to see closer. Hope to return next year to see the purple martins at Bomb Island in August! Loved our stay!

This property was EXCELLENT! It is everything is says it is plus more. The check-in was seamless and owners communicated quickly. This home is beautiful! Fully stocked with everything you need, including water toys, games, and more! We went with my parents, three adult children and my 3 year old grandson. We had tons of fun fishing and swimming off the end of the dock. The firepit was a nice addition to enjoy smores in the evening. We will rent this property again!

The place was great had a wonderful time
enjoyed my stay here, couple of issues upon check in the (unfolded) sheets were thrown on top of the beds making the beds look unmade and did not know if the sheets were dirty or clean. I also had a issue with hornets getting in the cabin, found the nest outside and they were coming in thru a crack near the roof so it was to high to spray

This house on Lake Murray is beautiful! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kids (and adults) loved swimming in the lake from the private dock. And the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Our stay at this lovely lake house was wonderful. It was well equipped and nicely decorated. We loved seeing all the wildlife each day. The hosts were fantastic and easy to communicate with. We would love to stay again. It’s a little piece of paradise.
