Nestled in Estes Park, this attractive condo for $92 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Walk everywhere from my family-friendly, newly-renovated home, blocks from Estes Park's best tacos, breweries and margaritas (permit 3003). This duplex unit is in a lively residential neighborhood minutes by foot from Lake Estes and the local event center and fairground - walk to festivals and the rodeo. + Ten minutes to Rocky Mountain National Park. + Speedy Internet for staycations, washer/dryer, fully stocked kitchen, sleeps six. Perfect for experiencing both our super fun town and gorgeous mountains. Real quick, some house rules (sorry it's no fun, but please read!!) + Understand that the yard is recovering from machinery used to install a new privacy fence. Grass and flowers are taking hold but it's currently pretty barren and therefore not advertised in the listing. + No early check in or late checkouts. + Check in is 4pm or later; check out is 10am or earlier. + No smoking inside or out; no fire pits; no parties; no pets. + 2 cars & 6 guests max per legal limit. + At checkout, you must do dishes and start a load of towels/hand towels/washcloths (we have negotiated a lower cleaning fee based on this). + Accurate guest count mandatory. + This is a duplex in a residential neighborhood; there are neighbors. + No cable -- bring your own streaming accounts for the smart TV. Thanks for checking out the east apartment in my newly remodeled duplex, perfectly situated near downtown so you can explore great restaurants, breweries and taco joints after you've hiked, skied or climbed all over Rocky Mountain National Park, just 10 minutes away. You will love its cleanliness and funky, eclectic, vintage feel. During the winter of 2020/2021, I completely renovated nearly every surface, resulting in: + New paint and flooring throughout + Totally new bathroom (shower enclosure, flooring, vanity, toilet) + Updated kitchen with many new appliances + Fun lighting and eclectic accents throughout + A large smart TV with lots of streaming options, + Super fast WiFi with no dead zones The cleanliness and amenities will help you to feel at home during your Estes Park vacation. This is a brand new listing for me, but I am a long time Superhost with more than 425 rave reviews at my other duplex on the other side of town. Past guests at my other listing have written: "...We love Rannvieg's place and this is our 3rd visit! Its bright and clean with mountains right outside your door. Comfy bed too. We'll be back." "... The host packet was FULL of recommendations and resources, so it was nice to not have to do a lot of research ourselves and to trust the locals." "... Rannveig was very accommodating and quickly responded!" ***** IMPORTANT DISCLOSURES ***** This is a duplex, and both sides are short term rentals. The only shared space is the driveway. The wall separating the units is sound insulated, but please be respectful of your noise levels. This duplex has been itching for a facelift for many years. The inside has been completely redone, but the yard (which I have not advertised) is recovering from machinery that tracked back and forth to install a new privacy fence. The grass and flowers are trying to regrow!! There are other homes and rental units in my neighborhood. If you are looking for isolation in the woods, this isn't your best bet. Check in is 4PM and check out is 10AM. I cannot accommodate early check ins and late check outs due to my cleaners' schedule. It's a super tiny mountain town and the cleaners are slammed and there just aren't other people to clean. I'm sorry about that! BEDROOMS My home offers 2 bedrooms, plus sleeping for two more on a living room sofa bed. Note that the sofa bed is an off size, somewhere close to the size of a full bed. Bedroom 1 - A comfortable king-size mattress will ensure a good night sleep after a long day of hiking. Attached is a large closet for your gear. Blackout drapes ensure privacy and a sound night's rest. This bedroom opens up to the livingroom. Bedroom 2 - At the back of the unit is a second bedroom with a comfy queen bed. It is far away from the rest of the living spaces and offers privacy. Bedroom 3 - Not really a bedroom but the living room couch doubles as a sofa bed. It's about the size of a full-size bed. LIVING & ENTERTAINMENT Living Room -There's a brand new 4K smart TV with Roku. Log into your favorite streaming service. Netflix, Amazon Prime, Sling, Hulu, etc. WiFi - My home employs a mesh WiFi network with no dead zones. A strong 600Mbps connection will allow you to stream and work without any issues. LAUNDRY & COOKING Kitchen - The kitchen has everything you need to cook, including a full stove and oven, fridge and freezer, and assortment of pots and pans. My brand new knives are sharp (dull knives are a pet peeve!). There are cutting boards, wine glasses, coffee mugs, and a drip coffee maker. Laundry - The home offers a full size washer and dryer that you are free to use. This is a fully furnished apartment with total access for you. That includes... + 2 bedrooms + 1 full bathroom + 1 kids' play room + 1 kitchen and dining area + 1 living room + 1 laundry area + private back porch + private back yard (the grass and wildflower seeds have not taken yet, don't expect it to be lush!) I have turned over management to my great cohosts at The Wolf Rentals-- so Nathan, Nancy and Matt will be your points of contact during your stay. The neighborhood is an up and coming district off Highway 7, now with two breweries (Avant Garde and Lumpy Ridge Brewing Company), three great taco joints (La Cocina de Mama, our local Mexican market, and a great taco truck at the local lumber yard), a bowling alley, and a few pubs. You can walk a few blocks to the shores of Lake Estes, the local dog park, the Estes Park events complex, and much more. NOISE Events, loud music and noises, and parties are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful of your noise level so I can maintain good relationships with my neighbors. Note that this is a duplex and there are other renters on the other side of the unit. Treat our neighbors like you'd want to be treated. The house is equipped with NoiseAware which measures sound levels and alerts us if things are too loud so I can give you a heads up. It does not record content, it only measures decibel levels so your privacy is 100% guaranteed. Guests are not to unplug it (we will also be alerted if that happens). You can read more about this device by searching for NoiseAware on the Internet. NONPAYING GUESTS Insurance requires that nonpaying and non-registered guests are not allowed on property. AIR CONDITIONER Estes has a mild mountain climate in the summers but from time to time it can get hot. Like nearly every other home in town, there’s no A/C. The cool evening breeze will cool the home down quickly.

Beautiful, comfortable, very spacious home where I had some of the best sleep I have had in months, thanks to the peaceful, quiet area and crisp mountain air keeping us cool through the night. I only wish we had more time there to explore. Communication with the owners was consistent and prompt - they are clearly engaged. I highly recommend and would be delighted to stay there again.
