About this cottage rental
Nestled in the Manistee National Forest, this lake house has a lot to offer. Located on a 180 acre all sport lake, with sunset views from 2 awesome decks, featuring an outdoor kitchen, fire pit, dining and sunning area, with a corn hole court all overlooking the lake. There is a yard to play in and a little secret garden to sit and enjoy the view or read a good book. The house is newly remodeled top to bottom, keeping some of the original as a nod to it’s past. The lower deck provides lots of seating and lounging area from the walk out basement. The upper deck is a nice place to enjoy a cup of coffee watching the loons, or an evening sunset with a glass of wine. There are stairs to the lakeshore with a great dock and sunning deck to lounge, swim, or fish off from. There is a convenient outdoor shower located on the lower deck to rinse off after a swim. This is a great place to enjoy with family and friends, swimming, playing, fire pit, wood provided. Short drives away are Ludington, Pentwater, the Silver Lake Sand dunes with all they have to offer on Lake Michigan. There are also trails to explore all over Manistee National Forest. A little of something for everyone

The view was beautiful morning, noon and night. There were smores available along with kinlin and firewood. The patio was great and spacious for brunch, upper grill and firepit area was very nice. Both Craig and Jackie were informative and pleasant. Would highly recommend for a nice relaxing weekend!

Craig was very pleasant to deal with. The property was beautiful, comfortable and everything was at your finger tips. Kayaks and paddle boards were available, several choices of outdoor seating for relaxation and to enjoy the lake with beautiful sunsets. Excellent vacation, fun was had by all.

This property is amazing! Off the beaten path, but within about 30 mins of what you need! The home was very clean and organized. There were so many things provided for our stay that we could have left our own items home and saved some room in the car . We rate this 10 out of 10 and definitely plan to be back!
