About this house rental
Located in Charleston, this lovely house for $298 per night is a great choice for your next break. Newly renovated 3 bedroom, 1.5 bathroom house with a large deck and yard right on the water. Ideal location for a quiet getaway, kayaking, paddle boarding, coffee in the morning while soaking in a sunrise over the water from the deck, quick drive or paddle to the ocean beaches. Central A/C in entire house. There is parking for 4 cars in the driveway. All bedrooms are on the second floor and all have windows/views of the beautiful water surrounding the house. On the 1st floor, there is a living/dining room, kitchen, and 1/2 bath. Also on the first floor there is a large deck with outdoor furniture and a grill. There are excellent water views from the living room, kitchen and out on the deck. There is a walkout basement which has a washer and dryer, and storage for bikes and paddling gear. The house is waterfront with a dock, on Green Hill Pond. This pond is also a bird watcher's favorite. During the warm months: there are 2 Kayaks and 2 paddle boards available for guests’ use. Launch right off the dock! There is a picnic table and a small fire pit in the backyard with chairs. The house sits on a dead end road with minimal traffic. Spacious, private outdoor shower in back of house. ***LINENS AND TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED FOR STAYS ON ANY DATES BETWEEN MAY - OCTOBER. Guests during those dates are asked to please provide their linens/towels or those items can be rented from Vacation House Linens, a local rental company. Vacation House Linens also provides beach, and baby equipment rentals if needed. Their website is: vacationhouselinens.com. There are also local Kayak/Paddleboard rental companies if you are interested: -There is a local company that will deliver rentals to you. Their name is "Long Point Paddleboard" . -Another nearby rental company is "East Coast Paddle Sports". They do not deliver, but you can pick up rentals from them and bring it to your location of choosing. You can also just enjoy an afternoon paddling and exploring at their beautiful location. -If you are interested in renting kayaks for an afternoon of paddling at a nearby local favorite location, you might be interested in contacting "Narrow River Kayaks". *If you plan to eat out during your stay, we encourage you to make any and all reservations ahead of time! *We recommend looking at the Southcountyri.com or Visitrhodeisland.com website for an abundance of local ideas and information.*There are countless additional RI beaches to explore. ***Minimum age requirement for booking is 30 years old. ***No pets allowed. Owners' family has severe pet allergies. This includes ESA dogs and other pets.

We loved the house and utlized the fire pit, the outdoor grill, kayaks and the big back lawn for lawn games we brought. The house is about three miles from Charlestown Town Beach which we frequented several days. I enjoyed biking in the morning on the roads and finding other places, like Moonstone Beach, which a small, beautiful beach a few miles from the home. Great ice cream place only a few miles away.

Great location, lovely, comfortable home with stunning water views from every window. Sunrises and sunsets were beautiful.
We don't normally use A/C in our summer beach rentals, but with the heat during our stay we really appreciated that in this house as well.
Kayaks and paddle boards were very handy for accessing the boat beach on the days we wanted to do that.
Would love to return!
PS: be prepared for mosquitoes at dusk and dawn. We found that starting the fire pit before dusk helped keep them at bay when we wanted to hang out on the lawn.

Amazing location right on Green Hill Pond with water views from basically anyplace you looked. Well equipped kitchen with a nice gas grill. Kayaks and paddleboards got a workout. Spacious first floor open plan great for spending time together. Sound bar with smart tv great for streaming music. We will definitely be back.

The location is awesome. There are water views all around the house. We enjoyed chatting and watching the wildlife while sitting on the deck. We saw an amazing orange moon over the water our second night while sitting around the campfire. The family room is also spacious and cozy. I did some light cleaning before my friends arrived and had to make the beds up. The surrounding area is pretty and there are several trails, restaurants and shops all within a 10-15 min drive.

This was our second year staying at this house for a long spring weekend and we love the house. The water views on both sides of the house are great! We brought our own kayaks, although there were some available, and did lots of paddling. Even got my 90 yr old aunt out in a kayak!!

The views from this house were amazing from every window. The sunrise over the water out one side, and the sunset over water out of the other. Every bedroom had a view, too. The recliners and couch in the living room were so comfy. We hated to leave. The only issues we had were that the WiFi didn't work (and therefore the TV, too) and the listing said to bring linens and towels, but when we arrived there were some there. No big deal, but would have saved us the trouble of brining them. The house was in a great location. Only wish we had been able to stay longer and take the kayaks out. We would definitely stay here again!

This was an excellent place to stay. It was so quiet. The views of the water on both sides of the property were amazing. We had access to kayaks & paddle boards which we used multiple times a day. The house has a great layout and tons of slider doors to let the breeze through the house.

We were very happy at Meg’s magical spot on the salt pond. It had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the beach. We kayaked, paddle boarded and rode our bikes to the beach each day. In the evenings we enjoyed a “sundowner” overlooking the pond and were very grateful to be there.

The house is very well set up to hang out. Plenty of big comfortable furniture with a nice view of the water. My teenagers appreciated the fast internet. The kayaks and paddle boards were fun. We went for a relaxing vacation and we had a relaxing vacation.

Wonderful location. Water views from all rooms. House filled with all the essentials. Great fire pit, well cared for yard and kayaks. Everything felt very clean! Perfect neighborhood. We had family staying right on the beach so beach parking was not an issue. Our kids were also old enough to paddle to boat beach. Stellar sunsets out on the pond. Great firework displays on the 3rd and 4th! Would stay here again!
