About this house rental
Nestled in Magnolia Seattle, this attractive house for $125 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. Experience PNW's nature at nearby Seattle's famous Discovery Park and Ballard Locks. Enjoy the woods view, dedicated workspace and private bath while still having convenient access to Downtown. An ideal base to explore Seattle. The private bedroom and separate bath are on the ground floor of a new, modern townhouse built in 2017. We have installed a keypad entry system, providing flexible and easy access. The house is 10-min walk from Discovery Park to the east and the Ballard Locks to the west. There is a bus route that takes you straight to Downtown in 20 minutes. We (owners) and 2 cats primarily stay on the third floor. Kitchen amenities and covered porch are on the second floor. There is free street parking ONLY. We ask that you look at all photos and read the description throughly before booking so you have the right expectation. Guests will be requested to acknowledge our house rules upon booking.

I loved the private room and enjoyed the cats that would greet us time to time. I don’t feel at home often this felt homey to us. I was in town for a job. Not far from downtown Seattle. Honestly preferred being in this cute neighborhood over being in the city. Definitely would recommend.

Walking distance from Discovery Park, and a beautiful walk to Ballard over the train tracks, ballard locks, and the botanical garden. Super peaceful, clean room, comfy bed, and friendly host.

Overall really enjoyed our stay here. Bathroom was impeccable. Super close to a bus stop. However, if you’re used to sleeping in complete darkness, there’s a small horizontal window above the bed that doesn’t have blinds and is pretty bright all night due to the neighbor’s porch light. Would recommend bringing an eye mask as it was hard to sleep in.

Such a clean and quiet room and bathroom on the ground floor, close to Discovery Park and downtown Magnolia for coffee and food. Easy check in and smooth all around!

Great place to stay. Very clean everywhere. Parking was interesting but we always found a spot not too far from the house. Location was great as it is close to many places we wanted to go but was very quiet. Having a TV, coffee pot, and another chair in the bedroom would have been nice.

This is a great place to stay when visiting Seattle. It is out of downtown so it is a nice quiet area but downtown is easily accessible by a single bus line. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. We also enjoyed the company of the owners cats who visited us occasionally.

had a great stay here! bedroom was clean, comfortable, and amenities were available. very spacious! quang was very prompt to answering questions. although parking was street only, had no problems looking for parking. location was in a nice quaint neighborhood. i would highly recommend if it’s you’re first time exploring the downtown seattle area.

Great accommodations and location
We stayed four nights and it was perfect for our needs. Very clean and quiet. Highly recommended. We were able to park very close to the place each day. We did not use the kitchen but it was very clean and had plenty of room with a nice outdoor porch for sitting. Thank you Quang and Chi and your beautiful cats!!!

1) no Parking … ended up parking on street 1-1/2 blocks away
2) No external lock on our door
3) no dresser, in fact not a single clothes drawer in the room
4) closet had a 5’ by 2’ hot water heater and a total of 4 hangers
5) Bed was only about 1 foot high (hard to maneuver for a senior with 2 knee re
Placements) and had an oversized frame that really hurt the ankles when bumped into
5) only one bedside lamp so reading not possible one one side of the bed
6) one of the two bath towels was stained. Ther was no face cloth and only one hand towel. When my wife went up to request more she got no answer.
7) no slip mat or traction in tub and I slipped twice
8) 2cats which walked on tables and counter where food was preferred and eaten
9) were “entitled” to use ONLY top shelf of fridge which was no more than 6” high. Milk container would not fit
10) first night at about 11PM we were watching television from about 6’ away and could hardly hear it when the owner came down and told us to turn it down!!!!!
It is my belief this is badly detrimental to VRBO and that the owner is in over his head

Clean & Modern
We had a great stay! The property is very clean and in a convenient location. It’s within walking distance to Discovery Park and the bus stop to downtown is right outside the home. The hosts are very kind and friendly. The cats are an added bonus!

My stay
The place was really clean and accesible. The room is just passing the front door at first floor and separate from the rest of the house , which is great. The bathroom is outside the room, it was spr clean same for the kitchen.
Quang (the host) is spr polite and kind, I fully recomend to stay here. I could not expect more.

A Great Fit for Us
Location was close to a business appointment which was ideal. Nearby was Discovery Park, lots of trails and the lighthouse point is the perfect place to watch the sun go down. We happened upon a neighborhood close by in Ballard that had a brewery on every block. Ballard Locks very close as well and there were restaurants and shops at the marina there. Easy access to downtown as well. Hosts were pleasant and accommodating. Room and bath were immaculate and private.

Simple Seattle Sanctuary with the comforts of home.
Easy, contactless check-in and check-out. Close to popular Seattle landmarks and tons of great restaurants. Wonderful, clean, lovely walkable neighborhood
Super easy check in, very comfy bed and super clean private room with access to shared kitchen. Was the perfect spot for us. Try the Lebanese place down the block! Thanks Quang!
