Wir haben uns aufgrund der anderen guten Bewertungen für diese Unterkunft entschieden und waren nicht enttäuscht ☺️ das Zimmer ist einfach eingerichtet aber völlig ausreichend für ein paar Nächte.
Highlight für uns war die herzliche Familie, bei der wir vor Ort das Abendessen klärten. Das Abendessen im Homestay war wirklich super lecker und sehr viel - perfekt, wenn man hungrig von der Anreise oder Safari kommt 👍
Außerdem fanden wir die Aussicht von der Terrasse super! Wir konnten hier direkt am ersten Abend unter anderem Nashornvögel und Pfauen beobachten.
Im Bad hatten wir einige Ameisen und einen kleinen Frosch, uns hat das aber nicht gestört.

Only 2 mins away from the entrance of the national park and it’s nice to walk along the path near the lake and get to see a beautiful sunset. Beautiful view of rice field right outside the room, and you get to see different animals walking in front of you. The lady Thushara cook good sri lanka food. Even though she can’t really speak English, she’s always so friendly with a big smile on her face.
nothing really, just need to get used to different insects in the room which is normal in sri lanka.

Food was the best in Sri Lanka - very tasty. Authentic and fresh Srilankan food with a masterchef in the background.
The millondollar view into the lush ricefield - we saw lots of wild hornbills and peacocks etc.
Organized everything for us! Connected us with a very nice driver for AirPort pick-up which we appreciated a lot. The stuff was super friendly!
Nice Safari - we saw lots of animals bit sadly no lepard- but a best and jackals …but its wild life ;)
The bathroom: showercurtain, all shower spidernets, carpets, bedsheets dirty, outside lounge table and chairs were not clean. (You should get hammocks)
The AC did not really work was very hot. We wished we would have had mosquitonets for the big door that we could have opend the door at night.
Could be so much nicer with a little more love to detail and cleaner.

Lage nahe am Nationalpark ist super.
