About this house rental
Charming 2BR, 1 BA hideaway just steps from the ocean, beach and salmon streams! This rustic and bright home is your perfect retreat for unwinding in the mossy rainforest after adventuring around the island. Nestled in a private, 2-acre wooded property, your drive up to the house will take you past a small, idyllic pond on the lower half of the property with a small shed and deck for soaking up the afternoon sunshine. In the morning, sip your coffee on the spacious deck with peekaboo ocean views beckoning you to walk down to the beach. While there, explore the tidepools, look for whales from the shore or search the cold, clear streams for wild Alaskan salmon just minutes from your doorstep. If the forecast calls for rain, take an afternoon off from hiking and cuddle up with a good book on the plush down-feather sectional while surrounded by the bright greens of moss and Spruce trees out every window. Unwind at night with a dip in the hot tub. Close your eyes, listen to the surf, and soak in the ambiance of the temperate rainforest illuminated by soft string lights hung around the property. Alaskan touches include a woodstove and hand-carved queen beds made from local driftwood. Make yourself right at home in this truly authentic Alaskan setting.

We wanted to stay near Chiniak and this cabin was very nice and located close to Roseland beach.

Very comfortable casual hideaway in beautiful moss covered tree forest. We could walk to deserted beach and streams. Kitchen was well stocked{we cooked almost all our meals} comfy beds, Not a touristy location but perfect for nature lovers.Jeremy was a wonderful host...shared lots of good suggestions for things to see and do we enjoyed meeting him. he owns a. bike shop so if you're into biking hes the guy to see.
