About this cabin rental
Small cozy cabin in the woods, close to Helen. We have a new hot tub, grill, internet, fireplace and 50 inch smart TV for your comfort. 20 mins from Cleveland, 10 minutes from Helen and 5 minutes from Unicoi State Park. Flexible with pets.
One thing we love about the property is the peacefulness. It does get very quiet at night sometimes and this is very relaxing. We do also enjoy making the occasional trips to Helen for some of the great restaurants and things to do there such as tubing down the river. There is also occasional wildlife, this is the mountains.
FYI the name of the cabin is Southern Oak Inn
Other Things To Note
The road leading to the cabin is a little rough. We make it just fine in our cars( Honda Civic and Accord) but the ride can be bumpy at the end.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this cabin. The location was perfect—close enough to enjoy all the attractions, shops, restaurants, and waterfalls around Helen, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and secluded in the mountains.The cabin was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. It had everything we needed for a relaxing stay, and the attention to detail made it feel like a home away from home. We especially enjoyed sitting outside and taking in the beautiful scenery and fresh mountain air.The area offered so much to do, from exploring Helen and Dahlonega to visiting waterfalls and scenic mountain drives. After a day of adventures, it was the perfect place to return to and unwind.The hosts were fantastic, providing clear communication and making sure everything was ready for our arrival. We truly appreciated their hospitality.If you’re looking for a peaceful mountain retreat with easy access to the best of North Georgia, this cabin is a gem. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Helen area!

We enjoyed our peaceful stay. The cabin was well stocked and nice quiet location. The grill needs a good cleaning. The toilet seat needs to be replaced. The hot tub didn't seem to be very clean. Everything else was enjoyable.

Hot tub was not clean. Needed to be treated. The cabin was excellent. Enjoyed the stay and was exactly what we needed.

My wife is a little bit of a neat freak and at first she wanted to leave from the obvious lack of thorough cleaning but I said no , so the first thing we had to do was clean certain areas. Otherwise it was a great stay , excellent location 5 miles from Helen , the hot tub worked great , the smell and sounds of the surrounding forest was so peaceful and relaxing. If I knew it would be cleaned up I would stay again in a second , but unfortunately there is no way knowing that.
