Good amount of parking when we arrived late afternoon. Helpful and friendly member of staff checked us in and showed us the way to our room. The room was actually a fair distance from the main building in a garden area. We were given a room with 2 bunks so 1 of us didn't have to climb in and out of the bunk which was kind. Bed actually very comfortable. Shower room was ok, drains were a little smelly so we had to make sure the door was always closed. Good shower. Plenty of hanging space/hooks in the room. One small seat cube to sit on. USB, socket and light alongside the bed. There was a window which opened a little, but there were a lot of mozzies around. We didn't use any of the shared facilities other than to make a flask before we left, though the kitchen appeared to be well equipped and clean. Overall a good YHA and we would use it again.
Smelly drains, the surrounding area may be prone to mosquitoes. A second seating cube in the room would be good, that said if we revisited we would make sure we went back over to the main building and sit in the lounge area rather than in the room

Excellent location, welcoming staff, ample parking, and outstanding value for money
Room cleanliness was not so good - Corners and under bed areas showed dust and debris. The room had a stale, musty odor suggesting ventilation or moisture issues. Additionally, the self-catering kitchen lacked essential cooking facilities (no gas or induction hob).
