Everything was perfect - from the staff extremely nice and supportive at all times; to the room, perfectly clean and comfortable; with big bathroom and hang out sunbeds outside on the little private terrace. The place is divided between hostel and hotel and you get to socialize with travelers from everywhere in the world during the social dinner (every Sunday night!). The breakfast is incredibly good, with various options and they offer fresh coffee and juice on top. You are literally looked after from start to finish (they even have a filtered water fountain where you can feel your bottles!).
Nothing, this place is a gem.

Nalaka is a great host and made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. We stayed in a private room, which was spacious and very clean. The breakfast was amazing, and the room was cleaned regularly with fresh towels provided often — they even give you beach towels.
Nalaka manages the place wonderfully and really makes you feel at home. He also hosted a family dinner for everyone at the hostel, which was such a nice experience.
I would definitely choose to stay here again if I come back to Arugam Bay.

The staff was great! Had such a good time.
The private room was very clean and neat.
Breakfast was awesome as well. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
