Located in Caldwell, this charming cabin for $209 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Lovingly maintained cabin in a serene setting on 10 acres yet a short drive to the village. From the minute you drive into the gentle drive, lush with rhododendrons, you know you have arrived at a special retreat. Huge covered front porch with oh so comfy porch furniture invites you to consider a quick nap, while the open deck around back features a sparkling 6 person hot tub, ready to soothe and refresh you after a day's hiking (or shopping!) and more seating overlooking private back yard and forest setting. All the necessary creature comforts await you inside--wood floors, wood burning stone fireplace, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, tastefully decorated and all in excellent condition. Living, dining and kitchen area are open and there is a pool table which also converts to table tennis or dining area in the great room. Utility room with full size washer and dryer is off the kitchen and there is a half bath as well. Note: Wood is not provided. Main level bedroom features a queen bedroom and private bath and also has computer station with printer. Upstairs, there are two more bedrooms (two queens) and two more baths--each bedroom has a flat screen TV. Internet is generally available, although can be intermittent and should not be relied upon for work purposes. The grounds around the cabin are well maintained and walkable and you can explore farther afield and are welcome to walk the roads within the subdivision and find the streams and waterfalls that Headwaters of the Yadkin is known for. All in all, the perfect mountain getaway that you will want to return to again and again! Pet Rules: Pets allowed with approval - a maximum of 2 dogs under 45 lbs. Your dog(s) must be fully housetrained and current on vaccinations and Flea & Tick preventative; cannot be left loose or unattended at any time; must be crated if you leave them home alone, crate(s) not supplied; pets are not allowed on the furniture and you must clean up any hair in the home upon your departure; Please make sure to clean up the yard after your dogs; if there is a hot tub, dogs are not allowed in it. The non refundable pet fee and tax is a total of $112.75 per dog. No Smoking No Events No Parties Minimum Age: 25 years old 4wd Required for winter months (Thanksgiving week through end of March). Check-in: 4:00 PM Check-out: 10:00 AM Late Check-out or Early Check-in at 1:00 PM: Must be requested and approved 48 hours in advance. A fee of $112.75 (including tax) will be applied for each late check-out and early check-in. Existing reservations before 4/11/24 honored for one dog under 45 lbs.

Great secluded spot for a weekend getaway. Close to blowing rock but far enough away to feel peaceful.

The house was “as advertised “ in respect to the house itself. There were too few available storage spaces such as pantry for groceries, because so many doors were locked. Where I felt we should have been advised about, is the VERY DIFFICULT single lane gravel road for the last mile+ to get to the house. It was extremely curvy with significant drop offs on one side, hairpin turns and parts of the road being washed out whenever it rained. We were having to alter our daily schedule in order to make sure that we got back to the house before dark. One night we did not realize the degree of difficulty that was going to present itself and could not proceed up the road at more than two or 3 miles an hour because of the fog and the rain that had come in. I am 81 years old, very active, jumped out of an airplane a year ago after turning 80, and I’m not sure that many other people my age, certainly none that were with us, would’ve felt comfortable driving up this road. I really felt that this aspect of the rental should have been very definitively described. It did indicate that a four-wheel-drive vehicle was necessary in winter time, but we were there in August. I would not rent this house again due to its location and I think it could’ve been quite dangerous if someone else been dealing with this

Location and accommodations were as advertised. Property doesn't have a great view across a valley but it is very private. Property managers were very responsive to any questions. Would recommend.

Our family had a great time in blowing rock! The house was very comfortable, met all of our needs. The fire pit was great to make smokes and the front porch was a great place to hang out.
