Welcome to baby-friendly single-story cabin, located conveniently at 3-4 mins from Snow Summit and Bear Mountain. You won't need to drive around as you can get free shuttles from the cabin. It is also just a few minutes away from the lake, Village, groceries and many restaurants. You can walk to a coffee, golf course, zoo, and back up to an easy trail for hiking and exploring the forest. The Ski Shuttles and free Big Bear Trolley stop right on our corner, NO MORE looking for PARKING for skiing. Full-size foosball table, corn hole, ring toss, and plenty of assorted board games and babies/kids toys for lots of family fun. -You can explore hiking trails and forests in the back of this cottage, and you can walk to the Big Bear Zoo/coffee/donut shops. The perfect location across from the ski/village shuttle stops would save you from parking hassles and make your journey more enjoyable. -We have a BBQ propane grill located on our large front porch. -Extra perks include Wi-Fi and access to NETFLIX, Philo TV, and YouTube on our Roku system. Complimentary popcorn is provided. -We have a well-equipped kitchen. A 7 ft peninsula with quartz countertop for entertaining and enough room to prep. Our cozy cottage has an open floor plan that will enable you to gather with friends or family. We've recently prepared a new set of pots and pans plus a rice cooker. We provide a baby highchair for families coming with a baby and also provide marshmallow roasting sticks. Never miss out on the fun and making memories on your vacation. -We provide coffee pods for the Keurig machine. Coffee, tea, and creamer are also available. Kitchen basics such as oil, spices, and sauces are there to help you start a meal. We also offer complimentary popcorns for you to enjoy movie nights. -This home has a king-size bed en-suite with its own full bathroom and private TV for separate viewing. There are two twin beds in the second bedroom with a workstation for you. All beds are topped with memory foam with plenty of extra warm blankets and pillows. We also provide a portable blackout curtain for your sound sleep. Each room has enough space for a Pack N Play, which will also be ready in the second bedroom closet with a mattress. -There is a space heater in the master bedroom. -We provide hairdryers for each of the two bathrooms. -There is an extra air mattress ready in the second bedroom closet. -There is a washer and dryer available with laundry detergent in case you need to do laundry. -There is Pack and Play with a mattress plus a washed cover sheet for your infant and a portable blackout curtain for your sound sleep in the second bedroom closet. -There is one baby highchair and booster seat ready for your little ones. Also, many toys including a baby walker, cars, books, and board games are ready for babies/kids in the second bedroom closet. -KeyLess front door entry for your convenience. In-person check-in is made easy at the cabin to get the entrance passcode. No need to drive far to check-in. Please communicate your ETA with us to arrange the in-person check-in. -You can like us #bearfamilycottage and find more things to do in the cabin there. -Please note : if there is a damage inspected within 14 days of checkout, guests will be responsible for damages up to the amount of $350. -Please note : if there is a power outage due to strong winds in the city, there is no refund for that. -Pets Allowed : House-trained and friendly dog(s) is/are welcomed with a per pet $100 non-refundable pet fee; the pet fee is paid separately. No additional animals unless approved in advance with additional fee. Your dog must not be left unattended, and you agree to curb after your pup. Minimum $200 fee for any undisclosed animal or not curbing after your dog. -In the winter: We do not provide firewood for the fire stove, please bring your own logs, best to use a fire starter or duraflame logs if you are not well experienced in starting fires on wood stoves. Please check travel restrictions during the snow season, you will need to carry chains with you depending on the type of vehicle you are driving. We will try our best to get our driveway and walkway plowed in time for your arrival, and will have a shovel out for you in case of continuing snowfall and if ever you find your vehicle snowed in. At any point we get a heavy snowstorm, we are not responsible for you being stuck in slow and heavy traffic. As long as there is at least one road access to get to the mountain, your booking cannot be canceled, Best to buy travel insurance. Winter is the most sought-after time of the year in Big Bear, people come to the mountain to enjoy the snow. We want to prepare you for the weather being unpredictable so you can enjoy our beautiful mountain. Guest access The City of Big Bear Lake requires vacation rentals to have an in-person check in. Additionally, you will be required to sign a Good neighbor policy/ Rental agreement prior to your arrival. You can get help for your check-in to get an access passcode at our cabin upon your arrival. We will also be able to answer any questions during your stay, and there's a contact person nearby to help with emergency needs. Please send a message with your ETA before your departure and with any questions about the cabin. We will do our best to help you ASAP. Guests will have the entire home to themselves except a locked linen and kitchen cabinet to store owner’s supplies. Other things to note -There is a (1) security camera outside by the front door only and nowhere inside the home. This is to ensure your security during your stay and protect the home owner's property during vacancies. - Like all cabins in the area, you may see ants, moths and other wild life at certain times of the year. We do have quarterly pest control and our cleaner always checks/vacuums after each reservation, but much like at your own home you may occasionally see a bug that gets in through a crack in a door or window. Please be aware that these “uninvited guests” are part of nature and being in the mountain. - Please don't forget to read our House Rules. We are a licensed business with Big Bear Lake and have to adhere with Occupancy and Compliance rules, failure to adhere to them will put our license at risk and a forfeit of your entire security deposit.
