The entire experience was everything we needed to cap off our trip to Scotland. Liz is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. There were eggs, milk, and bread supplied along with a basket of goodies. The rooms were accommodating and the shower was great. I would come back again just to relax in that house and go nowhere else. The view is amazing and the sheep are friendly! I've been to Hawaii a few times over the last year and I recall being amazed by how many stars I could see in the sky. And then I went to Cowden Farm and looked up at night -I've never seen that many stars in my life. This might be the best place I've ever stayed.

A beautiful house, the many details and little things, everything there is very nice.
Very nice, communicative and lively landlady.
Beautiful landscape from the 1st floor a very nice view! The hedge needs to be trimmed to get the view on the ground floor! 🤓
