The location was good for getting around the city.
The outside looks like an apartment complex for locals and needs some improvement. You can literally see the steel from the outer layer of concrete stripping away, making you feel the building could collapse any minute.

The receptionist was lovely and did everything she could to help. She sent the invoice the next day exactly as promised, which I really appreciated.
Breakfast was also quite good. Overall, it’s a decent place for the price. The hotel is a little old, but perfectly fine for a short stay or one night. The staff were excellent, everything was handled properly, and I had no real problems.
Prices were a bit higher because there were events in the city that day, but overall I think the value was fair.

the staff at reception are excellent - very friendly and helpful and its a 24 hr reception which is great. Definitely value for money in the middle of Budapest at a busy time. The shower was exceptionally good - probably the best shower I have ever had in 50 years of travelling at different kinds of hotels
There was no air conditioning and only a very small fan which was too noisy. There was noise from the street all night long - it sounded like there was drag racing going on with very loud exhausts - I got no sleep when I was there. It may be possible that other rooms which are away from the street are ok. The room was very plain and boring.

Location was great! Close to the subway line.
Bathroom had a foul smell and there was no AC so the window was open all night. However that made room very noisy and sleep was interrupted by traffic sound.
