The location, rooftop pool, price, vibe and look of the entire hotel was wonderful! We really enjoyed the fact that they had a hot water tea pot, Davines shampoo etc. in the showers and nice lotion available. The pool open til 10 was great, we loved the paid early check in too! The parking garage was great, our car was seconds from our room.

Although it was aesthetically pleasing, there were a few flaws. The bathroom door jammed every time I closed it and was loud, the toilet was not grounded and wobbled when you’d sit. The view of the ocean and street from our room was wonderful but the sound from the street made it feel like you were sleeping under an over pass. The pool was closed unexpectedly one day, and the elevator was broken our entire stay. And lastly, they had many amenities that most hotels don’t but an ice machine and microwave in the lobby would be great!

I would totally stay here again!

the rooms were spacious. the pool was small but warm and inviting. I liked having an ice machine nearby and a parking garage that was close and made me feel safe leaving my car there

there’s one carpet in the room under the bed that needs cleaning or removed. room 104. I kind of didn’t like having to create an account for the hotel but you have to, to be able to unlock your room door. was nice not having a key

Great location but the hotel needs a major renovation

It was in the main strip

The room was HORRIBLE. The floor was moving, the baseboards looked like they were crewed up by a rat. I would never book a stay at that hotel again. Room was 102.

The convenient location, hands down. For the most part, the room was decent and clean. The bathroom was nicely done, clean. We liked the pool area, the Jacuzzi was great! The third floor deck area, was very nice as it afforded us to relax and watch the sunset, which was gorgeous! Staff was nice. The entrance to the, garage is convenient. The modes of entry, with the keyless entry was convenient.

We understand that we booked with a deal, and that it would’ve been on the first floor with not much of a view, but we were booked in what seemingly was the dungeon-basement. There was a window that looked out to a concreted sub-street level enclosure where there was a utility ladder was for possible window cleaners to access. Also, the hallway flooring was tile, so it carried any noise coming from the front desk. It seemed like anyone who was at the front desk, was right outside our door! Our room door, did not have any door sweep to block out the noise or light from outside, we had to put down a towel to block. There was a decent TV, that hung on the wall, but the TV cord sort of ghetto – hung and plugged to an outlet on an opposite wall. Minor, but somewhat of an eyesore. And lastly, the air-conditioning unit was extremely LOUD!!! This dungeon basement room should not be booked for guests, but instead be some kind of storage unit or an additional front desk office. Fortunately, we were able to spend most of our days outside at the beach, simply use the room as a resting place. The third floor deck area made up for the lack of light, and view from our dungeon room. Plus, it was my birthday weekend, I was hoping for more special at the price we paid. But I understand, sometimes you get what you pay for. I just wonder if other people who paid the same rate, had better rooms on the first floor, where we were at.

Boa opção próxima à praia em Laguna

Cama grande e confortável, banheiro espaçoso. A localização é boa, porém um pouco distante do centro de Laguna (20 minutos de caminhada). Durante o dia há um bondinho que circula até Dana Point de graça.

A pressão do chuveiro é muito ruim e o chuveiro estava com problema, quase não saia água. Ar condicionado um pouco barulhento.

Very relaxing place to stay during the Pageant of the Masters.

Excellent property, would like to stay longer next time.

The room did not have any chairs for sitting. The only place to sit was the bed. One of the locks from the garage to the property would not open using the code.

I like the spacious rooms and comfortable bed.

I didn’t like we had to wait until check in time to go inside of the property. Check in time is so late and if you want an early check in, you have to pay for it. You need a code to go inside which is nice, but we shouldn’t have to wait until check in time to roam the property to get to know where we are staying. You have to pay for parking. It almost feels isolated with hardly any employees working.

The patio was dirty and creepy, completely neglected. Big long hairs stuck all over the shower wall. No. Ice bucket or water in room, nearest 3 stories up and down a long corridor.

Too expensive for the conditions of hotel 🏨; meter parking all around perimeter added to noise

Noise due to PCH Hwy. traffic; & all the Slamming doors in/out of parking garage structures below/above ground. 2nd floor rooms access directly from Parking. 1st location the balcony was very dirty/buildup from traffic & leaves...1-2 days there; then better location, for remainder stay.

Close to the beach, comfortable, lovely, amazing patio.

The huge outdoor area with a variety of seating made the stay very enjoyable. The kids had more space to move around and play and it meant we didn't have to eat in the room.

There was no chair in the room. I had to make a remote court appearance and that was difficult. The room was on the small side. But it was beautiful, clean and otherwise very nicely appointed. The pool was much smaller than expected.

Clean room. Big and comfortable bad. Personal is friendly and helpful. Everything is automated (checkin, parking, checkout) - every door can be opened by the same code. Located in 150 meters from the ocean, so it's great.

Not enough space in the room, so no table, fridge and coffee machine are in the bathroom. No safe. It was quite hard to understand where to go when we tried to check-in, but personal helped.

Great location if your there just for spending the night or work.

The room was nice. Great view. It was clean easy access to parking lot. Location was great.

The TV did not work you needed to have your own Netflix passwords, could watch any local TV. No phones in the room. The pool area was okay. The bathroom did not flush on the last day.

Very disappointed with the condition of the room and everything in it.

Between the air condition that only blows for 10 seconds every 10 minutes, the shower that didn’t have working wand and the constantly rattling refrigerator, I’d never recommend the property. Not much to like.

We spent 3 nice days in the area

It was clean, beds and pillow’s comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly and polite. Location was great, with plenty of cafes and restaurants and easy access to a small beach. Main beach around 1 mile away.

We did have two rooms in our party and my family with 2 young children had very noisy neighbours. But the hotel resolved it.

Rooms were clean and beautiful. Had everything we needed. I met cleaning staff as we were leaving and they were very kind too. Check-in was smooth, and I loved the fact that the parking lot was right inside near our room.

Our stay was fair but a lot of things to work on regarding hospitality and basic things

I really liked the location of the hotel. Walking distance to the most of the bars and restaurants. The bed was super comfortable as well.

The staff ignored us when we tried to enter the main entrance. They also ignored us every time we would pass by and when I asked for coffee, they lady said that the machine is broken. Out coffee machine in the bedroom was also broken. So no coffee for us. The second thing is cleanliness of the bedroom, the carpet was full of long thick black hair that I had constantly on my socks - and I am a blonde, so not mine for sure. The third thing that upset us the most was when we asked if we could stay one more day, over chat of course ( the front desk technically doesn’t exist and no phone in the room to call front desk) the sent us booking.com link and said if we wish to stay another day we should book the room via that link, check out by 11 am next day and then check in again at 4pm, which is ridiculous! So overall decent experience with a lot of things to work on.

Very good

Perfect for our short stay in Laguna Beach. Rooms were comfortable, parking was easy, and location was walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Trent was so friendly and extremely helpful with all concerns or questions. He was also very knowledgeable of the area.

A great find for our one night stay!

Room layout and facilities in the room were great (I could even log into Netflix, Prime, Disney on the Raku device in the room). The kitchen space/ bathroom sink are combined which was great, plus there was a fridge and coffee machine with coffee, tea etc. We arrived early and were able to access our room straight away. Staff were very accommodating and helpful in navigating us to where we wanted to go. The parking garage was under cover so the car stayed cold, plus we could access the garage from opposite our room. ** there is a free bus service outside the hotel that goes back and forth across the coastline making the main beach easy to get to.

Under the beds was filthy and there was a babies toy and empty snack wrappers in among the balls of dust. We were also on the ground floor so there was no real balcony or outdoor furniture compared to other rooms
