Picturesque location, easy to get too. LOVED the fireplace! The bedding was cozy and the room was a little crowded but had everything we needed. There was plenty of hot water and good water pressure for the shower. Self-service breakfast and lunch selections were very good and appeared to be locally prepared. The lodge had a big fireplace and a good selection of souvenirs available. Dinner at the lodge was fantastic! Close to the attractions we wanted to see in Banff.
Bed was tucked into a corner so it was hard to get out of if you're sleeping against the wall, the mattress was in need of rotation as the near side was pretty worn down. Bathroom heater didn't work and shower was a little dark

The lodge was lovely very inviting, the meals provided free of charge such as breakfast and take out lunch were generous. The dinner in the dining room was very good.
In comparison to the lodge our cabin felt very dingy. The hand held shower was very inconvenient an attachment on the wall would have made showering much easier. It wasnt the luxury cabin experience I expected for the price. Our next stay in a different lodge was so much nicer at 1/3rd of the price. Perhaps I expected too much but for the amount charged it was not good value
