We loved this place. Absolute tranquillity and bliss. You're surrounded by fields with horses, sheep and a pony. Your view is south east so you can sit and watch the sunrise over the fields. It is magic. It's a 10m drive to the station and a 10m train to the centre of very busy Edinburgh which is packed to the brim with tourists. This was such a great choice. We were lead by budget but in the end it was a highlight of our trip. Micheal was so lovely, funny and friendly. The cabin is cute and spacious considering it's a cabin.
Things to note are: the private bathroom is close if you're in the glamping tent, 50 steps if you're in cabin 2 and about 80 if in cabin 1. If you're a night visitor this is important to know. There are also narrow steps to manage in the night. We were lucky but I imagine in the rain this would be tricky.
Another note is this is a double bed size (not Queen).
Also note you have a fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. BBQ is also available.
I could not find a hairdryer but this didn't bother me.
We loved this experience and highly recommend it. I couldn't get back fast enough from our day in Edinburgh!

Bring your own food and drinks. Great space in shared kitchen area. There were refrigerator 'sections' to put your food in. Toaster, microwave, etc. are in shared kitchen now and not in the tent or shepherd's hut. There is a coffee pot in each separate sleeping area.
This is only because we have to get up at night! Fantastic private and individual shower/sink/toilet were quite a distance in the middle of the night for us as we are pensioners.
