Take in a full day of mountain activities, golf, or water sports nearby. Hit the slopes at Heavenly, kayak on Lake Tahoe, or explore the hiking trails outside your door. Then whip up a gourmet feast at the house before relaxing fireside for an evening of movies and popcorn. The living room offers a prime social space for a group. It's light and airy, offering a TV, a card table, and picture windows with forest and mountain views. The spectacular kitchen features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Keep the chef company at the island or gather around the breakfast nook. In the adjacent dining area, a dark wood table seats 10 beneath vaulted ceilings; views of national forestland offer a beautiful backdrop for dinner. A spiral staircase leads to the gorgeous rooftop spa area with outdoor seating and a hot tub. A large indoor sauna is provided as well. The property is surrounded by national forestland, with trailheads for hiking and mountain biking waiting right outside your door. For skiers and riders, the location can't be beat - directly at the base of Heavenly's Boulder Lodge, just steps from the lifts. You can also reach Lake Tahoe with ease. Four miles away, the lake's glittering waters are perfect for paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating. Things to Know The upper oven is not operational. This property is managed by Vacasa Nevada LLC. If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the nightly pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting "Yes" to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The nightly fee ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. I recommend you to stay in this house. This house is filled with an aura of family happiness and family warmth. Everything is at hand. The only drawback is that the built-in equipment does not work according to standards.

The house itself was nice and spacious. The service from Vacasa was also good, they were very responsive throughout our stay.
My 3-rating was for several aspects of the house that disappointed:
1. The kitchen pots and pans were old and all scratched up (non-stick pans are toxic when scratched). We were disgusted to use them. The plates, cups, other kitchen items were very limited and old. It was not pleasant cooking in that kitchen.
2. The beds were creaking and the bedding was old and outdated.
3. The bathroom and spa towels were limited. The house is for “10” people; we were 5 adults, 2 kids, and the towels were not enough.
4. There were no paper towels, cleaning supplies or wipes when we arrived. Vacasa was helping in dropping some off at the house during our stay.
5. There is no yard or patio to sit outside. This was a huge negative for us. There is a “backyard” you can come out to from two of the bedrooms but it’s just trees. No pavement, no tables or chairs to sit and enjoy the outdoors. The only outdoor space was at the very top of the house, you can climb up and there’s a small space where the jacuzzi and grill are, but again no tables or chairs. It was a real bummer. Also recommend having a step stool next to the jacuzzi as it was hard to get in and out of it.
6. We wanted to use the humidifier that was in the room and when I opened it, it was super molded on the inside - gross!

Upon arriving we were very excited. The home was large enough for our party of 10 including six teenagers. But, that’s where it ended. Upon closer inspection there are a lot of issues. The kids were excited about the hot tub but when we opened it up it was very dirty and there was a can in the bottom. The front steps weren’t even attached causing a huge liability should someone fall. We took the steps off and put them to the side. No information was left for the wifi and we never could get the tvs to work. There are 2 patios and no furniture. The trash bins outside were completely full. Let’s talk about the kitchen! 2 bowls for 10 people, 7 cups for 10 people, 2 skillets, 14 lids but not one pot big enough to make spaghetti, no casserole dishes, the disposal was broken. I went and bought pots and then gave them to my daughter who just moved. These are small maintenance issues that could have been resolved if someone paid attention or had a checklist to make sure the next guests has everything they need. I texted with Vacasa and they were pretty helpful but the only thing done was the hot tub (incorrectly) and we finally received the wifi information. This house was in a great location but we will not be back.

Contacted the Property Manager multiple times. Did not get a reply back. A/C, wifi was not working, some of the blinds were broken, broken door in bedroom, broken cabinets. The main issue was just the AC not working. It was way too warm

Not even close to worth the price we paid! House has a lot of potential but it seems as though they cut corners on maintenance. So many loose, broken and hard to use items inside and out. Needs some TLC!! Just had a feeling that this property is not cared for at all! I have stayed at places before and this was the worse.

This house was awesome!!! We walked less than 5 mins to get to Boulder Lodge at Heavenly and it was the best during winter. Most of our group were beginners so it was a great location. It’s a beautiful home, nice details and very spacious. The pictures don’t do this place justice, it is well built. We hope to make this an annual trip and we highly recommend this home for 4 families, (big room with ensuite dedicated for teens to stay in together was ideal). They really enjoyed it as much as we did. Everyone had their own space and we tried to maximize our time spent making dinners in the massive kitchen and sitting for meals & game nights in the open concept layout was amazing.
- Upon arrival, we couldn’t get through the garage door to enter the house so I called the # in our reservation to let them know. Thankfully there was a lock box with a key to enter the front door.
- It would be nice to have one sheet at the property to tell guests how to turn TV on (6 or so remotes to figure out), and the fireplace was not clear on how to turn on.
- The hot tub was dirty when we arrived but someone came the next morning to clean it. There was so much ice to access the outdoor patio, so we weren’t able to really enjoy it.
- We had to buy solo cups because there weren’t enough glasses. There was only 1 wine glass but it wasn’t the end of the world.
- There was also an issue with one of the downstairs toilets but something maintenance can fix.
With that said, this is a 5-Star property and one that we hope to visit again! We will definitely refer this house out!!! Thank You

The house had a great location; walking distance to the Heavenly Boulder Lodge ski lift. The house is very large with 5 bedrooms and baths so can accommodate a large group.
The original house must have been beautiful as the structural bones were lovely however it has not been maintained well.
There were a lot of little things such as multiple lights not working, kitchen not well stocked with glasses and plates, dirty grill on stove causing smoke and the alarm to go off; leaking windows causing the bedding to be soaked, the bedding was old and worn.
The local Vacasa team were responsive to our concerns via texts but due to a large snow storm that weekend were unable to come to the house to assist with the deficiencies.
We have stayed at other Vacasa properties that were well maintained and well furnished. It is too bad because with a little upkeep and attention this could be a great property.

Overall, we absolutely loved this home and vacation. I am giving 5 stars, although there were some issues, because the home is absolutely beautiful.
First with the good: the house was immaculate, 5 bedrooms (weirdly the description states 4 bedrooms but there were definitely 5), all of which had their own TV/cable hookup and 4 of which had their own bathrooms. It was total luxury, with beautiful kitchen fireplaces, hot tub and sauna. The location is amazing, immediately adjacent to the Heavenly Boulder lodge and ski lifts. Close to shopping all sorts of activities. It's also dog friendly which is a huge plus (do note that there is NOT an enclosed backyard so you'll have to take your pup out on a leash to do their business lol).
Now for the few minor issues. The toilet paper holders in several of the bathrooms were broken and toilet paper kept falling so we just left the rolls on the floor (not even something we notified them of since it was a minor nuisance). Also, there is no range hood over the stove. You have to open the windows (in the freezing cold) to avoid setting the smoke alarms off.
The last (and most annoying) issue was the wifi did not work. The instructions in the app listed a network name and password that were not even available options. We called the property manager and got the run around (they said they would call us back and have a tech come by that same evening and they never showed...my husband waited up until around 11pm for them and then gave up). After we proactively reached out a few times, a Spectrum tech came out and replaced our router and we were good to go. We did get a small discount to make up for the inconvenience and it did get ultimately resolved which is why I'm not taking off a star.
Overall, the goods definitely outnumbered the bad and we absolutely loved this home. I would happily come back and would recommend it to anyone looking for a luxury snow vacation. :)

Let me first start by saying this was one of our worst experiences at a vacation home. We were unable to access the home for 1 hour!! We had small children who had to use the restroom and had to go outside in the woods. We were never provided with the correct code to enter the home. FYI to anyone that stays here you need a code to enter the garage and then another code to enter the home. Second of all, the grill was so dirty that it caught on fire! We almost caused a forest fire because of the lack of cleaning. If I could I would share a picture of how dirty it was. You will also not be provided a key, so when you leave the home all your personal stuff stays unlocked. Also the hot tub was not cleaned and had dirt everywhere and low on water. I really believe whoever cleans this home ignores the whole upstairs. With all the problems we encountered during our stay nothing was done by Vacasa. No discount and no extra time for the inconvenience. My family and I will definitely not be staying at this property again or booking another vacation home through Vacasa.

Great yard and house. Very spacious. Owner needs to pay some attention to the house. There is a broken door frame downstairs. 3 of the window cranks are broken so you cant use them. Double bed downstairs is about ready to fall down. Bunkbeds are very wobbly. Kitchen desperately needs to b stocked. There are no platters or large trays or bowls to cook with. Very few dull knives and sparse cooking and serving utensils. You think for as much as this house cost to rent they could make sure the kitchen is stocked. They give you one towel per person, which may be fine for 2 days but we were there for 5 days. Electrical outlets in master bath did not work. Most of the dishes and pans were put away dirty. Would have been nice to have some chairs to sit in on the back patios as the roof was scorching during the days. Stone in front entry is loose and tripped several people. Other than that, fantastic.
