My partner and I had a great time at this vrbo. It was close to the downtown where we could walk to Stucko’s, Blackrocks Brewery and Ore Dock Brewery. We had clear communication with the owner and if we didn’t have to get back to work on Tuesday we would have loved to stay longer. Thank you for the great stay!

Greg and Kate are the best hosts! This was our second stay at one of their properties and I can’t say enough good things! This cottage was perfect for our visit - from the welcome basket, the frosted beer mugs, to the super comfortable bed- we felt right at home. Highly recommend!

We stayed at the summer cottage during our visit to Marquette over Labor Day weekend. The cottage was cozy and welcoming— the hosts were communicative and even kept the lights on for our our arrival to make sure that check in was a breeze. The house was in a good location and we were able to walk to the downtown for restaurants, shopping, and breweries. The mountain bike trails were just a short 10 min drive as well!
This was a great place to land after a long day out and about. We ate out for all of our meals and spent the day at the beach or on the trails so we didn’t spend a ton of time at the cottage. If you’re planning to stay at the cottage for most of your day, be sure to pack all of your toiletries or other comforts and perhaps ziplock baggies/food storage if cooking at the cottage is more your speed. We were so thankful to have the window AC unit in the bedroom especially since Marquette was unseasonably hot.
It’s a great cottage for a summer getaway in Marquette!

Location was great! We walked to the co-op, the lake, and other great coffee/treat places (Contrast Coffee, 321 West Patisserie, Doenkers). The Summer Cottage met our needs for comfort and to make some simple meals when we'd had enough and needed to get away. I also biked the trails near the lake. The bed was comfy and the shower pressure great. I love the tap water for drinking. Recommended stay!

We enjoyed a cozy two night stay in this quiet carriage house. Quiet, that is, when we weren’t spin doctors cranking up a few of our favorite 80s rock ‘n roll songs on the turntable! What fun!
While we did bring a few of our own small kitchen items to help with making a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, the supplies on hand were quite ample.
The place was very clean, there is a surprising amount of storage, the shower is tiny but good water pressure, and finally, the decor is bright and cheerful. All in all a great stay.

The little blue cottage with the yellow door was the perfect spot for our weekend in Marquette! The NMU campus and Third Street businesses are walkable from the cottage. The cottage is light and airy inside, the king bed is very comfortable with a generous amount of pillows and the shower has great pressure and temperature! Charlotte the Shih Tzu loved looking out the front door!

We were in Marquette for two nights as part of our U.P. fall tour. As others have noted, the little house is clean, comfortable and quiet. The outdoor space is a bonus. Since the weather was bad , we spent more time inside, even cooked dinner. The neighborhood is great for walking to coffee shops, grocery etc. Check in was easy and we had all the info we needed.

The decor is what caught my eye the instant I stepped into the cabin! Tastefully done and the typewriter and yellow wall phone just brought a big smile to my face! Neighborhood is eclectic and very quiet. The outdoor patio and the fire pit are a big bonus! They even let us check out a little later!

We enjoyed a very nice three night stay at the summer cottage. The home is very comfortable and well appointed. Despite some cold and rainy weather, we enjoyed our trip and the home was very cozy. The owners have thought of everything in terms of decor and amenities. Location is excellent, with good restaurants and bars within walking distance. Mattress is great. Kitchen is functional. House is nice and quiet. Owners were very helpful and responsive. We hope to retun!

the cottage is perfect for a couple and their little dog.
It is well equipped, very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and the bed was amazingly comfortable.
Check in and out was easy; owners were helpful. The small patios were extra nice. There was a firepit with wood available that we did not have time to use.
The Third street restaurant row was only about 4 blocks away and an easy flat walk.
