House was very well equipped , clean and modern.
Very sunny and curtains in ground floor bedroom let too much light in . Garden furniture poor condition . Dog barking in annex , very noisy refrigeration unit at Morrisons shop next door , was going 24 hrs and can be heard from bedrooms .

Great spacious and comfortable cottage just a street away from the main area in Helmsley. Nice and quiet. Very relaxing.

Lovely comfortable house in a fabulous location minutes from the centre, very spacious and bedrooms absolutely gorgeous.
The cleanliness of the kitchen was very poor, oven filthy so couldn’t cook. Also the dishwasher and sink very dirty. There were splits in the floor tiles which could be very dangerous if tripped over them.
Also the outside sitting area in desperate need of some attention, table rotting and furniture poor. Could do with the leaves being swept up and a powerhose.

The property was in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Helmsley, Morrisons next door and plenty of shops/places to eat nearby. It was a spacious property with 3 bathrooms and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen was great, well equipped with everything you need. The 1st floor main bedroom bed was very comfy. The ground floor bedroom with an en-suite which was suitable for wheelchair users. Plenty of space for private parking.
There is nowhere in the description stating that this property has an internal door in the kitchen to adjoining property, I think this is the annexe. We could hear very loud conversations through this door. The photos show a courtyard for private use, this wasn’t the case. The other property were using this and there were 2 dogs wandering about, it was also full of weeds and cigarette tabs. The photos also show that there is a welcome hamper, we didn’t get one and I can see from previous reviews that I’m not the first person to mention this. The property is in need of some TLC, black mould in the shower, shower was either very hot or very cold, duvet too small for bed downstairs (again this has been mentioned before in previous reviews). If you’re a light sleeper, take earplugs for the main bedroom, there are very loud fans going on and off all through the night from the Morrisons next door. The final straw was the neighbouring property having a party which didn’t stop till gone 2am in the morning, total disrespect for the neighbouring properties in the area. Some of my complaints may seem picky but when you’re paying over £1080 for 3 nights you expect better standards. This was a holiday for my Mum who is in a wheelchair which was spoilt with issues mentioned above. Very disappointing.
