Friendly, efficient check in; good location right on the Camino route; clean and tidy; the fittings and facilities seemed quite new. Comfortable beds with good curtains. Very clean kitchen. The area out the back deserves special mention - garden, plenty of seating, clothes drying space.
The public spaces are very small - the space between the bunks, moving in and out of the bathrooms, and the kitchen. Plenty of seating in the kitchen, but a lot is unusable as it is so close together. Also, the top bunk has no safety rail.

The receptionist was extremely nice and helpful. The little backyard is also a great place for pilgrims to come together after a stage.
The bunk beds are way too close to each other and there's barely any space to pack/unpack your backpacks. Upper bunk beds do not have any kind of protection preventing people from falling down.
Ventilation in the toilet wasn't working properly so that by the end of the day the male toilet was incredibly smelly.
