Really liked this albergue. The way the beds are set out makes it feel more private than many others do. Basic but decent breakfast with a very friendly member of staff.
The shower room opens directly into the main area, so if you are stepping out the shower and someone opens the door to come into the room it feels a bit exposed.

Near hot springs, very vigilant about keeping sleeping area free of bedbugs, informative check in person. Beds had curtains, easy stairs to get to upper bunks.
This is just my preference - this albergue is perfect for people in their 20s and 30s. I am in my 60s and wish there were a couple of pilgrims my age here. Other than that, this is a very well run albergue.

The biggest advantages were the secure lockers for backpacks and the fact that the sleeping area was quiet, which is great for rest. A nice bonus is the location: right next to the hostel, there is a lovely little restaurant and a fountain with thermal water.
The common facilities were disappointing. The main issue is the lack of a separate kitchen; it's set up in the entrance hall, which is inconvenient. Also, there are too few shower cabins, leading to queues in the morning.
