It's bigger than you would expect and has everything you need. Great beds, very good shower and a very well equipped kitchen. Our dogs loved the garden and had plenty of space for their dog beds in the hall and kitchen.
The doors blow open unless you close them with the key, but that was easy to manage. The cutlery is sparse so you often need to hand wash in between running the dish washer.

Jack's Roost is a beautifully converted annex in lovely countryside. We were amazed by the beautiful kitchen / dining area. We had been informed that no meals would be available but were thoughtfully provided with delicious bread, milk and a few goodies. The huge range was a joy to cook on and when we found the tagine in the cupboard, we bought the ingredients and then prepared a delicious lamb meal. The bathroom was huge, with an excellent shower, and in the entrance hall there was a washing machine with enough soap for two washes. Upstairs was a very cosy bedroom with a comfortable sofa and TV. An outdoor setting was available so we sat in the garden several times. A very comfortable and well thought out "Roost".

Jack’s Roost was a lovely, comfy part of an old farmhouse. We loved the fab enclosed, private garden. Fantastic, beautiful location near to of places of interest and access to outdoor activities - lots to do in the area..
The layout of the property is a bit quirky, but I guess that adds to the charm.

lovely and warm, and host offered to increase temp if we were cold. welcome pack on arrival bread, milk and juice. Host visited to check if everything ok.Shower good but took a long time for hot water to come through.
some of the fittings a bit tired looking, fridge rusting and milk was frozen. No oven gloves. Windows aged and blind seen better days I n bedroom. Bathroom downstairs and through a hallway so not so good needing the loo and night. Sofa stained. Looked for a plug behind the bed, not very clean. Sorry for the negative review, but we’ve stayed at a lot of places around the country and comparing it to other accommodation we’ve stayed at.
