I had just an overnight in NYC between flights and just needed a place to stay overnight, close to LaGuardia. This hotel is a ten minute drive from the airport and the location is great-right on Steinway in the middle of “Little Egypt”. Lots of places to eat, get coffee and a few awesome little markets. Felt very safe, even later in the evening. Sidewalks were full of people enjoying hookah & socializing .
I have no complaints about the property but keep in mind this is a great value stay and you get the basics. Nothing fancy.

It is easy to reach from LaGuardia airport. The area (Steinway) is vibrant and noisy and crowded and the New York of old before the extensive gentrification of many neighborhoods. It is located in an area commonly known as “Little Egypt” that runs neatly along Steinway Ave between Astoria Blvd and 27-26 Avenues. The staff are very helpful. Housekeeping every day. Clean sheets and comfortable beds. Rooms have tv, fridge and microwave. There are both local ans express buses and trains nearby.
It has no facilities (breakfast, gym) and no safes in the rooms. It seems to have some
Medical or social transfer clients besides tourists. It is located adjacent to a mosque so there are call to prayer is heard on Fridays at noon and large crowds. Which is nothing negative but one should be aware that this is not a typical tourist area or tourist hotel. There is no lobby. Very old towels that leave a layer of fibre on the skin. Outside there is a food truck/kebab grill that cooks until at least midnight — those with rooms facing the street might find the smell of roasting meat pervasive.
