Location was convenient to hiking, seaside thermal pool area, and the airport. The breakfast basket was wonderful and very generous (with bread, milk, fruit, juice, eggs and more!). The espresso machine was very welcome. The view of the ocean and the gardens below us was great, especially at sunset.
We had a little difficulty at first with the code and entrance door, but Tomas was very helpful resolving this issue. (via a WhatsApp text and call).

This was a fantastic property for our group of six, staying in the three villas that are separate from the lighthouse. We were a little disappointed that we couldn't book the lighthouse itself, but that's the way the cookie crumbles. Beautiful property, the villas were exceptionally clean, kitchenettes were very well equipped, and this is almost like staying in a hotel, with daily maid service and VERY generous daily supplies for breakfast, which we were able to stretch for a number of lunches and snacks along the way when we were hiking the trails of Sao Miguel. In fact, we had a lot of leftovers at the end of our stay, sadly! The owners are incredibly communicative as well, and very kind and welcoming. Because the weather was pretty bad for much of our stay, we were unable to use the pool, but it looked beautiful. Of course, our last day was sunny! There seems to be some new construction going on just by the pool; I'm not sure if that will be another rental. This property is very close to Ponta Delgada and the airport, so very convenient. There are two friendly kitties who hung out with us on occasion!
There seems to be a kennel next door, and the dogs barked a lot during the daytime hours. Fortunately they were not bothersome when we were inside the villas.

I booked the room because of the windmill and thought that we would be in the windmill itself. It was disappointing to find that it was not the windmill itself, and I felt that the advertising was slightly misleading.
